Maybe about 5 years before I did (3 years ago!). Especially sites such as Fab.
If I was any younger I think there'd have been the risk of viewing it in the same way it appears many do these days - as a means of getting laid, rather than enjoying fun times with openminded folk and exploring.  |

I started at 18  started going to chams at 19, then met Leo on the scene when I was 24 |

This is very true! We started as soon as we could, a couple of months after we'd first met, and the sort of swinging we do now is like you describe and quite different to our experiences when younger and single - ending up in bed with others at parties, group stuff in our flats, etc. We never thought of it as swinging, just fun sex.
Still, we wish our exes had been open-minded about swinging, but if they had we probably wouldn't have got together. |

No I'm really glad that I wasn't on the scene from an early age, having years and years of non emotional mechanical sex may have made me disillusioned.
I only feel mature enough now to experience the excitement and fun the scene has to offer |

Being together 7 years and being on here for just over a year is definitely right for us, we have enough trust and respect for each other to take our relationship to the next level |

Same here. It happened for me at the right time in my life, when I had just gone through two of the most 'educational' relationships in my life. Had it been any earlier, same as Fabio, I would not have been emotionally mature enough and would have been one of the 'been on here five minutes and not got shagged yet' brigade on here - not that there was any internet in 1985 of course ....

Much the same with us, been together almost 6 years & started swinging last year after discussing it on & off for 2 years. We are at the right place in our relationship for us to enjoy without any concerns |

See for me it's the other way round, I got to enjoy my 20's doing fab things I just couldn't do now. I went to Cap D'age with Paul and Flirt, spent loads of time in chams and other clubs, wasted weekends at house parties and BBB, daytime dogging etc, and was able to enjoy myself without a busy job and kids. Now we can't do much because of having young children, but I love that I've already had some amazing experiences and met some people who are on here that I consider life long friends. And I got to do it pre kids and baby belly
Leo hasn't done as much as me, but he's been to Hedonism which I'm very jealous of.... Hoping in a few years we can go together!
But yes, I always knew I was a bit of a freak from my teens and am really glad I got to explore my sexuality before life became more complicated! |

we started last year, been together 23 years, and now we both have seperate profiles. we trust each other implicitly, only a few rules, ie no stop overs,text when you there/coming back.and 1 if you are un comfy and ill come fetch you  |

I (Mrs) got into swinging at exactly the right time for me I just wasn't ready before. However I wish I had known years ago what I know now and things might have been very different. No regrets though |

I wish i had slept with more women before i met my husband,but being married and getting the best of both worlds is ideal..have been swinging for five years now and hope to for another ten. |

We feel that it was the right time for us but we had spoken about it for a good couple of years before taking the plunge.
Had some amazing experiences over the last 8 years and hopefully some more to come |
