None of my friends know if the did they would be shocked. But on a girls night out we talk about it and what would we think of eachother. I think a couple of my friends would love it  |

Some close friends know everything, others know a little and other’s probably have an inkling but dare not ask the details.
The former boss of my workplace knew and was even wanting me to introduce her to the club scene. I drew the line at that, citing professional boundaries |

My close friends know about my lifestyle - they’ve all got partners, and I got fed up of being asked why I’m still single / you should find someone … Easier buddy to tell people I found |

A few of my close friends know, I like to be able to tell people where and when we're meeting just incase there's any issues, plus I found out 1 was already on here so it's great to have someone to chat about this side of my life to.

Keep my home, work & swing life separate.
Not looking to be judged by others who’ve never tried it or don’t understand the dynamics.
I have 3 work clients who know but only because they’re into it, even had fun with one of them.

Recent events in my Swing Life have lead me to open up to my vanilla life, as I needed to speak to someone who wasn't involved, kept the life completely separate for 10 years uptill a few weeks ago x |

I have told one friend who totally judged me and we have since fell out with each other and no longer speak as he thought I was going to make a play for his wife or something like that..   |

Several of our sexually liberated & confident friends know, some are in the fab or bdsm scene - being of similar mindsets is part of why we get on. Other friends - definitely not - they are more conventional & just would not understand. Family - no way. |

The reason in which I ask is recently a very close friend of mine settled his divorce, we grew up together, my wife had always had a bit of a liking for him, I said I'd ask the question but didn't know how to address it, he was at our wedding, how do I say, hey would you be interested in having some fun? Would he be judgey etc
We never really know do we....... |

I used to, many years ago play with my ex in this sort of thing (hotwife arrangement). She let slip to one of her mates and it was a fucking car crash, her mates fella kept challenging me to a game of cards (winner fucks the losers mrs) or a race in our cars or whatever childish bullshit he could come up with. No amount of "mate, my mrs isnt a fucking prize to win we arent interested in playing with you two and by the way how does your mrs feel about your stupid game?" would shut him up. Soon enough every fucker saw it as a green light to chat my mrs up. |

Many of our friends know, but then several of them we met through Fab. 
Some have crossed into real life friends and are very close.
My former business partner knew as did Becky’s previous boss.
Family doesn’t know.

Similar happened to a friend at work. She has been slagged off by men and women really badly. People screenshot her pics and show them around to take the piss. It's awful. Men openly make fun of her and ask for sexual favours. |

I had to come clean to my best friend last week! I had left my phone lying around with no pass code and had locked it straight on a WhatsApp chat from a male friend… she ushered me quietly into the bathroom to say she had grabbed my phone and unlocked to take a photo earlier on and needed to know if I was cheating on my husband as she had unlocked straight to a msg from another man  x |

I told a mate years back,and he tried to use it against me. He failed.
So a bit more guarded now. A couple of decent friends know though.
It use to be my biggest fear walking into a club and seeing a work colleague there. Now I find it a massive turn on.
But as a poster further up the thread said,as a single male I would receive less social stigma over my life style choice. |

Everyone knows. Freinds and family. One little mistake here, a random guess there, a phone screen accidenpy left on etc and over the course of 25 years, it all comes out.
Nobody cares. They either simply don't mention it or they're just curious. |
