Is it acceptable to bring a gift for a meet or is that classed as a date? I've been bought flowers and wine, although they were lovely I did feel slightly guilty as it wasn't a date. Have you brought a gift along? Maybe it's just a nice thing to do. What are your thoughts?

somewhere nice

Buying a drink is fine, but I would feel like you if the guy brought me flowers and wine. As thoughtful as it is, that’s definitely more for a date

Certainly seems like it is in porn these days ... Suppose it depends on the gift. Some might hate Chocolate & a butt plug? Others may love a teddy bear & slippers?

I would feel very uncomfortable if anyone brought a gift to a meet. It really would not go down well with me all after all it's just sex and not a date.

I think it's kind of sweet when they don't want to come empty-handed.

That's the point it's swinging so I'm not sure why he got the gifts for me. Maybe he thought it would be a nice gesture or he was trying to romance me but I felt abit awkward because it was a meet and not a date.

I only provide the gift of charming witticisms and banter. And a medium vial of spermicidal lube.

Dnt see anything wrong in it. Some people have manners and standards. Not every meet as to be a fuck meet. Why worry. Accept graciously

I took a bottle of champagne along to a hotel meet …we both enjoyed it.

A lovely lady, I met for a social, took her panties off in the toilet and gifted them to me to take home - even mentioned it in the verification!

But no, I wouldn’t take flowers / chocolates to a booty call. I wouldn’t take them on a first date either. A few dates in, sure - but often with this sort of thing we’re meeting for the first time - sometimes the only time.

I've never thought to being a gift but that sounds a great idea. Sadly most people would bring the female part of a couple a gift and ignore the male so I may look at bringing him and him steaks

We might bring a drink but flowers? That’s a date. That isn’t anything like what we want from a meet.

I don't think gifts and Fab meets are appropriate personally, it's a dating thing. A gift would probably make me feel uncomfortable.

Nearly always try to bring a gift along,You sound lovely shouldn’t feel guilty at all, Its only a date if the participants say it is nobody else's opinion matters (bar mine obviously always get my approval first lol).

I don't know why but i was thinking about this the other day

The first few meets I had I went to theirs & always took a bottle of wine, now I prefer to host at home & no one's ever done the same

I'd never not offer a drink (so are others automatically expecting me to supply because I host) & equally I'd never go to a friends empty handed, be it a bottle of something, a crate of beer, flowers, chocolates etc

I think it's an awkward one because by buying a gift is it a presumption of what will happen, it could be taken as offensive as in a gift in exchange for sex

I think it's one of those lose lose situations for guys

Although if any of my potential meets are reading this I'll never say no to a bar of dairy milk or a Galaxy (I'm a cheap date & easily pleased lol)

As I said I did always take a bottle with me & still would if I went to someone's house but I now only meet at home, to me it would feel cheeky to turn up empty handed

I think a bottle is absolutely fine if you are visiting, it not a gift as most likely to be shared. I would certainly do this

The only gift I would want is there smile when they arrive and a thank you kiss when they leave.

Anything else is a no x

We wouldn't expect or want any gift, it's a mutual sexual thing. I get a big cock, he gets some big boobs to play with! That's the gift!
