"Has anyone ever had one lost inside them. Got a new jelly one and thought I was gonna lose it up there a few times. Bit concerned cause the jelly blocker contracts."
You have to be very careful of the 'suppository effect' once it gets in and starts to launch itself onwards and upwards. Removing such devices sometimes requires the use of forceps or even two pairs of forceps and can bring a tear to the eye, not to mention cause a lot of angst for the HCPs removing the device trying not to tear your inner bowel wall, and then having to pump you full of antibiotics to prevent septacaemia.
Something with a good ruff or a collar that defines the insertion limit would be good.
Failing that make sure it has a thingy on the end that can be grabbed easily without any fuss in A&E :o

No cant say that I have, though never tried the 'jelly' ones, either. They always look like they can break in half if you look at them the wrong way.
Mind you, I don't have an arse like the Japanese flag - so less chance of things getting lost up there!

Yes, and it's almost impossible to get them out yourself - I was lucky that I had someone with me at the time and that she had small hands!!! Bit uncomfortable, but we've laughed about it since...
A good friend of mine lost a vibrator up there and ended up sitting in the medical waiting room with it still audibly buzzing.... quite true, but sooo embarrassing! |

I would have waited til the batteries were flat... less embarassment and if they can't get it out they can always just put new batteries in |

Yes this has happened to me, I only use plugs with a wide base on now. I have a brilliant one called the Icicle number 15 made of solid pirex with a loop on the end to stop it getting swallowed

" Now "getting swallowed" is a phrase that scares me on a buttplug thread.....there must be some real gapers about. |

The problem is that a lot of plugs on the market have very weak or soft bases, that just fold up and then slip inside easily.
If the base is fairly firm, then you should be quite ok.
Another problem, well for me at least, is that when I cum everything around there squeezes and is beyond my control or even care! So the plug is pulled inwards, or more correctly pushed in by my bum cheeks squeezing.... !

Maybe i'm a bit niave here, but, can't you tie a bit string to the end of it before you insert it up your rectum? That way, if it gets 'stuck', just tie the other end to a door handle and slam it shut! A bit like pulling a tooth! |

Now that made me smile. I know I shouldn't as it is worrying if you loose one but couldn't help it. |
