My view is let me tell my name myself when I feel I know you enough for it and am comfortable with you knowing that bit of information about me. If I'm asked before - it's a fake name. |

Once we’re considering a meet then we use our real first names.
There’s a lot of fear about.
I know there’s some nut jobs out there but luckily I’m the most dangerous bastard I’ve ever known. |

Once we're at 'meet' stage, it's likely we'll have exchanged phone numbers, so, naturally by that point, we'll both know each others names. The discrete nature if fab makes it difficult enough, without bringing yet another complicating factor into it. |

How does it. I think it's actually good to not give out personal information to people on here you don't know well. Not everyone on here is genuine and I've seen firsthand how much trouble someone can try and cause by getting small amounts of info and putting it together. So no I no longer give my real name to anyone I don't know really well . |

I use a fake name until I'm comfortable enough to use my real one. Back in my early Fab days on my previous account when I was way more nieve I used my real one and it led to being stalked on social media by someone who thought just because I'd added him on kik I owed him my time.
Similarly one guy harassed me that much on a well known dating site, after I'd blocked 6 of his accounts on there he somehow found me on here and continued the harassment on here.
I used to be like many commenters who didn't understand why people used fake names until I had that happen, now I fully understand why. |

Exactly why I don't as well I had something similar happen to me when I first well he decided he would would out me to my place of work at the time, so learnt fast to be very careful with personal information . I use Bo as I'm _ustbo on here. When I know I can trust someone I will tell them my real name.
Anyone who gives out their info freely and thinks everyone on here is genuine and won't use it against them is just fooling themselves.
There is a lot information about others spread in the background on here and quite a few people have been outed by others on here. It's not right but unfortunately it happens. So me calling myself Bo to anyone I meet suits me if someone has an issue with that they can move on. It's not that I'm lying to anyone but I am keeping my private life private. |

As is yours and my perogative to do so. Unfortunately there are some people out there who spoil it for the majority who think because you've spoke to them, or even met them for that matter, they're entitled to a slice of our private life. |

I am the same - same reasons. I am easy to find if you know my real name and someone stalked me online. I like my online name. My ex boyfriend still calls me that name! |

We spent a long time agreeing the false names we were going to use for meets. On our first meet Mrs kept using my real name, which really confused the couple we were with. We quickly Kicked the pseudonyms into touch after that. |

I Just use my nickname , Fab life and my private actual life are two separate worlds that will never meet ..
Have had people refuse to meet me because I wouldn’t divulge my actual name on my last profile here . Not really that fussed if that happens as always more meets to be had regardless |
