I would be concerned about wet rot (Coniophora puteana) which occurs when moisture content exceeds 28%.

"I would be concerned about wet rot (Coniophora puteana) which occurs when moisture content exceeds 28%."

A good shellac to seal after sanding and then a quality yacht varnish should keep that at bay!

I’ve got a wood turning lathe in the shed that’s not been used for years; should I start knocking out wooden toys and selling on Etsy?

Well you do pose a dilemma for the red seven eighths of Manchester.

Obviously seeing the blues getting turned over at the Emptyhad is the source of great amusement for us reds if only watching the after match interview with Spanish Joe. However that mirth is tinged with some trepidation as the Mickey Mousers closed the gap in the race for the Sir Alex Ferguson Trophy.

It’s the biggest sporting dilemma this century.......

A rock and a hard place.......the devil and the deep blue see........
