What is it with people and one line profiles followed by one line emails.
I mean seriously, do these profiles work|????
Does anyone follow them up or do you just delete them??
I always thought if you wanted anything in life you had to work a little and at least try to be different.

One word mails are the best.

I usually get ones relating to my current status which is good, I do get quite a few that say "hi. What are you doing?" my usual reply is: driving, working, watching TV or sat in a pub. |

I always have the problem of knowing what to write. I am abysmal at creating CV's and as for writing a description about myself well I just hate it, always feels like I am bragging or the profile is over egged, Hence the brevity of my profile. |

Ok checked your profile and yours has slightly more words than I was on about but still does not say much about you, I think your post on here says more lol.
So my question to you is, does it work only having one line on there, do you get meets, do you get lots of emails??? I know you have a face pic on there so you might get a bit more attention if they like the look of you so to speak.

to answer the question as Cowell would say "A big resounding NO" I have not had any response made to me. Only contact is if I instigate it, but being somewhat reserved it dosent happen often.
Must also say how lucky you are living in Guernsey loe the island. |

OK maybe a good tip then, being a single guy you really need to make yourself stand out from the crowd. You are half way there with the pic on your profile so as long as that is you try reading some of the regular guys profiles on here and get a feel for what sort of things to write 
Guernsey is like you say a really lovely island but absolutely crap if you are a swinger. Even the guys over here do not want to meet half the time lol |

why is it that some people turn a profile into a short novel and insist you read it all. by the time i get to the end i usually lose interest lol.a wink / a friendly email should be enough to start the ball rolling ( this is a swinging site and not a dating site after all) |

Maybe English was not their first language or they sent a lovely message and it kinda got lost in translation...
Some peeps do respond to one word answers and when they do meet face to face they click... Very rare, yet it happens..

We tend to ignore the one liners to be honest as to us it shows that person cant really be botherd at the end of the day (not that case for everyone) and we also cant stand the "will fill in later" ones |

you'd be surprised at how many guys who say they're 'straght' on their profile are secretly bi, i had one guy msg me in chatrooms who had 'not looking for single guys' on profile!
