Fake profiles

Seems to be on the rise or im getting unlucky. Usually a couple's profile where tge guy is doing all the talking, she really up for meeting but isn't willing to talk. Anyone else cone across this any tips to avoid them? |

Look at their verifications and follow the verification trail to see if it leads to well verified profiles. If they're verified from hidden profiles be cautious. If they have one veri from a profile with one veri, be cautious. You'll learn from experience. |

Sex talk straight away, asking to meet the man alone before meeting the woman, pictures of the woman that are all like holiday snaps or days out and the very subtle differences in the way men communicate.
None of these alone or together are proof that a profile is take but they would raise questions on my mind and make me wary.
A sure fire way of telling is to ask to meet for half an hour for a quick coffee. |

Holiday snaps is a good point, tgey looked like them come to think if it and the coffee idea i do actually use, the excuses i get are funny to be honest haha |

We got a message from a "single female" asking what we were into, we replied "it's in our profile". Our message was just deleted. "She" has 5 verifications, one describing how within seconds of "her" opening the door sexual activity was taking place. Be cautious OP. |

 . We chatted to a "couple" on another site years ago who suggested we met the guy first to see if we were "suitable" for his wife. He sent a photo of her in her dressing gown that she was clearly not even aware he'd taken. We declined obviously saying it looked as if she was very reluctant (polite way of saying she had no idea). "She" then sent a scathing very sweaty response followed by another from him begging us to rethink.  I'm not sure how he thought any meet would go after that |

There are a few fake newbie accounts popping up near us every few days. The usual telltale is they all seem to follow the same format. Two porn-site quality public photos and one private. Also the bio is very explicit and 'come and get me'.
They typically get verified within a few hours of joining too. Either from other fake accounts or from conning genuine members for a veri with the promise of a meet or extra pics.
We were messaged last week by a new "couple" who sent a face pic of the lady. A quick Google search found the face pic on a stock photo site for 'attractive blonde woman'  |

Lots cropping up lately , especially those advertising there snapchat or only fans are a dead give away , some are here only for the chat and the enjoyment of being desired by lots of people and have no intention of meeting even though they lead you to believe they have .

we would never trust a photo veri by its self they can be faked lots have fake the only veri we look at is the meet veri they can be faked but them one can be easy to suss out |

No way, photo verification is strict it took me a few attempts because i didn't have enough body in shot etc plus wouldn't it have to match the photos in their profile? |

This is the main reason I left last time I fell for it ended up arranging a webcam chat with a "couple" ended up been a guy banging 1 out in a store room saying his Mrs will come on later  |

All you need is to save the veri photo that some people post up publicly as 'proof'. Then photoshop out the name and add your chosen one. There arent many photo admins and a large volume of photos to approve so some faked ones will slip through. |

With the apps available now you can definitely fake photo verification and many do."

My wife dosent like to talk online leaving it mostly to me. She's a bit of a techno phone (unless it vibrates lol). She preffers to talk face to face.
I can assure you, one partner not talking does not make a fake profile....though I appreciate caution in those situations. Check the veris. |

I just tell people my wife isn't interested in meeting from the start.
Then the "clever" ones try to psycho analyse her...
"Have you tried telling her"
"Maybe she is interested but doesn't know it"...
Wow quarter of a century together and after 10 minutes and 4 messages they know her better than me

There is one local to me the same name keeps popping up saying *xyz! has joined Fab. I've seen the same name twice in the 1 week, sometimes a couple sometimes a female.
The profile Fabbed one of my photos today but when I clicked on it the profile is hidden,  who would have thought it eh. And because it's hidden I can't block it. |

I get accused of being fake every so often mostly because of temporary tattoos I wear.
I ended up mentioning it on my profile but people don't always read them so it still happens occasionally. |

You can block a hidden profile. Look on the menu, the option is there. |

most fakes to be honest are so easy to spot the problem is for those that struggle to get meets end up fustrated and start to think with there balls rather than the mind and because of that everything goes out the window until they realise when its too late ...
so many great pointers being given out but dont ever feel you have to use your phone or cam you dont we have never given our phone number out we have never cammed (due to it being so easy to record) and never used any apps ...fab is all you need with some clear thinking .... those that mess block those your not interested in block the button is there for a good reason
keep checking the home page and status's thats the main place to spot fake before they even get in touch with you ... the ones where they moan no one talks or real graphic stuff so easy when you get used to it... |

I've lost count of the number of times that type of situation has happened. I think women can suss out that it's a man pretending to be a woman but men often get taken in. The chance of a fuck - even after they offended the poor woman in her dressing gown - is just too tempting. |

Some people will say we are fake to try and get us to send more pics or videos to 'prove' we are real. Don't fall for it. |

I have come across a lot of fake or time waster couples profiles.
1, A couples profile with pictures of the wife but the female has no knowledge of there profile, sometimes after chatting for a while the male will admit he hasn't approached the subject with his wife.
2, A couples profile as above with the addition that the wife will be blindfolded and a lone guy will have sex with the wife without speaking. I asked if this was her fantasy, the reply was no.
3, A couples profile where they use to swing years ago, but now the wife no longer has any interest in swinging but the male continues with the profile getting off on talking about another guy joining them.
This site is full of time wasters, I am sure there are other sites with few active members but as a percentage have more genuine members.
Going off on a bit a tangent, verifications. If I see someone with loads of verification which are only webcam then my view they are not genuine. |

Just had one 'justsomecurves', a couple we've spoken to before (yet was always the guy  ). Even had a phone call with him while 'she' was at work (their number private doh). Yet again mid chat and sorting a meet date, profile deleted grrr.... never again. |

The worst kind are those that seem 'genuine'. Green flag, green circle, veris that you can click on (and some recent), clear effort put into the profile text..... Yet they still seem to get off on pissing you around (we were let down by one such couple Friday night as we were driving to their house - who then continued to piss us around all weekend ). Blocked now of course. |

We've been here over 8 years... DEFINITELY on the rise , almost not worth the effort now. Fakes, liars, fantasists, piss takers, most lack basic manners and respect, false addresses, VERY misleading photos, pic collectors that friend you then ghost.. |

My wife calls me Hubby all the time. Easy for me to say we are not fake but, well we are not.
I'd like to think there's enough on our account to prove we are not fake but for the sake of argument, what's enough proof to not have a red flag go off over something so simple as the word hubby?

I know 100% that a profile on here is fake because I found the picture they were using was from another website. Reported to admin twice with the link to the picture to prove it and nothing has been done they are still on here!! It's putting people at risk.
Yet if I name and shame them on the forum I've been told it's me that gets the ban ? Laughable!! |

Unfortunately nothing gets done about fake profiles, and the long term fakes know that. There's easily 10,000+ fake profiles on here. Many have several profiles, if you name and shame you'll likely get an abusive message off another of their profiles. The reality is Fab is a business and doesn't have time to be investigating every fake looking profile. It's up to the individual to be cautious and savvy about who they message. At least they entertain us! We put some on the hotlist, one "Lady" is always taking a pounding up against the Living room window |
