The rain out there looks pretty real and I'm just about to walk the dogs in it...will report back later if it subsequently proves to be a figment of my imagination... |

One of funniest things I've ever seen was when BNP had a stall set up in Barnsley town centre, spouting their usual bollocks. An octogenarian world war 2 veteran went up to them, gave them a massive gobful and then started braying fuck out of them with his walking stick. He was really whacking em too and everybody was clapping and cheering him |

Nooooo! Not the Real World - please don't make me go back there...!
I'm happy in my own little world where I can just be a muff-muching, crazy old slapper, who is addicted to chocolate and red wine.... don't make me think about responsible stuff like poly-ticks...

Employers seem to have rights over workers without responsibilities and likewise unemployed seem to have rights without responsiblities.
Poor old hardworking ethical Joe is like a tube o toothpaste. |

"trouble with socialism is it looks good on paper, but it doesn't work as human nature gets in the way."
Mainly because it's not allowed to work as it doesn't fit in with the greedy needs of global big business so is undermined, overthrown and worse, through falsities, propaganda and atrocities/genocide either funded by or directly perpetrated by good old Uncle Sam, and sold to the ignorant population at home as some great struggle for democracy by selective reporting by their news networks (As they strip the nation's assets and impoverish the indigenous people).
I'm talking about proper democratically elected socialist governments here and the USA have been eradicating them since around 1917.
The world is run by big business who own and run the US government, who in turn own ours ( Regardless of whose in power out of the major parties) who will then take out any government in the world that dares to withold it's assets from their greedy troughs, always justified by some liberty or democracy bollocks (When in reality this is the furthest thing from the truth) It's time the man on the street started to question this rather than go along with whatever shite is printed in the press.
They want the population to be stupid and unfortunately this is all too easy to achieve
Something to think about here, if the Nuremburg Laws were adhered to, every single US president since WW2 would have been executed! As would puppets like Tony Blair! |

Socialism got us the Welfare State - and many many thousands have been grateful for that since 1948.
Socialists rock! |

By 'socialst swingers' do you mean ones who always expect other people to pay?
As the old joke goes... Christopher Columbus was the first socialist:
When he set out, he didn't know where he was going;
When he got there, he didn't know where he was;
When he got back, he didn't know where he'd been;
And he did it all on somebody else's money! |
