The wife and I are going in June for the long bank holiday. Would love to hear some recommendations. Would like to go for some nice independent food places also and secret speakeasy style bars for cocktails. Also not sure if there is anything up in Liverpool but something like a burlesque type place would good to |

"That panoramic looks pretty cool… whats theAlma de Cuba like? Is it a club or a restaurant and is there entertainment every night? "
It’s set in an old church and it’s a bar/club and restaurant upstairs.
Midweek I’d say it would be quiet but Thursday night onwards it used to queuing to get in (obviously Covid has had an effect) - it’s a pretty cool venue.

Berry and Rye on Berry street is a ‘secret’ speakeasy style bar that specialises in whisky and gin cocktails.
Bold street is great for independent restaurants, Maray is a particular favourite. Or Duke Street Market, theres a number of different independent food vendors |
