Be careful ordering leather from Honour

So I wanted to get a chest harness for using with a play partner. Honour seemed to have reasonable ones - not super fancy, but proper leather. I'd generally thought before this that Honour stuff was OK. Not as good as Quality Control (which are next-level lovely), but better than your basic Bondara stuff.

It just arrived today. The straps were fairly thick, a bit sharp on the edges and not very supple. Normal kind of thing for new leather, so I started with the normal thing of giving them some leather conditioner and polish to soften them.

And then I had a sudden pain in my hands, and there was blood all over.

Turns out they've used eyelets which aren't capped on the back (on the skin side). That's not great in itself - anything next to the skin should be capped. And these were so badly fitted that roughly three-quarters of the eyelets were sharp enough to cut, and it had sliced up my fingers.

The one thing I'm glad about is that it happened to me. If I'd put it on my play partner during a session and she got cut round her chest and back, I would have been fucking spitting bullets.

I'm now waiting for a call back on the RMA and angry phone call. We'll see what they do about it.

In the meantime, if you're buying stuff from Honour then check it *very* carefully before you use it!
