"It's just a word. I don't understand what people have against it."
Do you really need other people to explain to you that words have connotations and that not all of those connotations are positive? |

"Most folk seem to call a woman's vagina her pussy. I prefer the old Anglo Saxon word cunt. Why can't we use that?
"
Only a cunt wouldn’t know why!
Sorry, sure you’re a lovely bloke but just couldn’t resist |

A woman's vagina isn;t her pussy though, her vulva is her pussy, her vagina is her cunt.
The emphasis should be on the word her though. Ask her what she would like her body part to be called. |

It's the English language, innit!
There are times and seasons and words change over time. Society changes and the way they view words changes. Not really sure there is a real rhyme or reason for it. When I was a lad it was generally seen as quite an insult to boys to be called gay - yet just a generation earlier and it was happily used in it's more original intent of "light, happy". Fuck was "THE" rude word to be used and was frowned on massively and was seen as the most taboo word to use a cunt was just another of those rude swear words that young, growing scrotes used to show off how old and sophisticated we were because we could swear. Perhaps lament the passing of the more commonly used "minge" though, back in the day. Hardly hear it at all these days. Interestingly, I'm not sure that the "n" word was as offensive in my youth as it clearly is today.
Bottom line - culturally, the "c" word these days seems to have become "the" taboo word and that'll be the case until it stops being so and we latch onto something else |

I don't have a problem with it in general but I never use it in a sexual context.
Some people seem to think that admitting they are one means others will excuse their behaviour but in reality it just reinforces the fact that they are indeed a thundering cunt. |

We use the word cunt to refer to people not pussies. Both as a term of endearment and an insult.
At the end of the day it’s a made up word, how you choose to receive the word is on you, not us. |

A word I love but only when refering to annoying customers at work
Would never dream of using it whilst talking to a woman, unless I knew they approved. |

It’s my go to work for bad drivers.
It’s akin to Pavlovs experiment. Someone just needs to cut me up and it just comes out. Often preceded by ‘You f***ing’. |

some people like it, some people don't, the other half only likes it in the moment and would be put off immediately if you led with that as a first message and assume it's something she would share with just anyone. |

I have no problem with the word cunt, when used in the correct way.
I don't like it when using incorrectly like calling someone a cunt derogative way as it's degrading on women and their anatomy. |

I'm always haveing this debate with women. Who like the word pussy that came into popularity in the 70s when pubic hair was the fashion then. But the word cunt been around since roman times .
Hence the word. Cunniligus.
Which describes licking you know what certainly not a pussy . |

Personally I love it when a woman uses it during sex but I can understand why some don’t like it. The term gets changed from being an offensive swear word to an erotic one. |

"It's my fave word in the whole world.
I prefer to use it for the whole person though rather than their genitals.
What's a cuntwaffle? "
Urgh, a person who loses any sense of morality when it comes to sex. They'll lie, cheat, manipulate and steal off their granny if it meant getting even a sniff of fanny. |

Interestingly, it is misogynists who made the word seem awful.
A 'dictionary of vulgar words' in the 18th Century (I think) said it was a 'vile word for a vile thing.'
Yet, Queen Vic and Chaucer used it, so that's good enough for me. |

Because the meaning has changed, when someone says the term “stupid cunt”
I doubt they are referring to a vagina with a low IQ anymore than when I tell someone to fuck off am I telling them to go and have intercourse |

It's now used as a derogatory term hence why so many people take offence at it. Just because its an old Anglo saxon word doesn't make it any less offensive |

"There used to be a "grope cunt lane" somewhere in London in old Elizabethan times I believe "
1230 A.D. it's first use in the English Language it was apparently a "red light district" adding to the theory it comes from Geman Kutte for prostitute. Or you can an Latin cunnus which one translation is "sword sheath" or vulva. But most believe it has always been aimed the vagina, but not deemed offensive till late 18th century.
Read once there was a link to an old Egyptian word for cat (cat-pussy-cunt) |

"I love all the dirty words, you've just got to find the right moment and person to use them to their benefit. "
Exactly this
Rough guide; if she uses the word first, you’ll be safe to use it (with her) afterwards |

Mr here.
It has its place and time. I’ve known women who hate that word for any reason; women who won’t use it because they felt it was not ladylike; women who sometimes like it during sex; and some women who use it all the time
Guys that I know tend not to give two shits about it. It’s just a word. |

Cunnilingus comes from cunnus (vulva) licking not cunt licking. Cunt was a separate word, and an unpleasant one even back then. |

He gets around as been called out by lots of people including newscasters. Bit like Mike Oxlong |

We reserve the c word for abusing eachother when really really fucked off or for talking about somebody who really deserves it. If we see it anywhere else including Fab messages or profiles......ummm no thanks. |

The word is a neutral term up here (north of the border)....for example,
1.all cunt means everybody, 2. wee cunt means small person
3. big cunt means two things a large person or a big bad person.
4. Smelly cunt a person the smells
5. Where did that cunt go? Means where did that person go?
It can mean a person or a type of person. Normally needs a description before it to advise on its use.
Cunt as a term for vagina is less used here incase you get your cunts muddled up. We don't want to get our cunts muddled up do we? |

i love the word cunt. I see nothing wrong with it at all. I use it to describe a womens lady garden but also as a term of endearment to friends etc.. if i call someone a cunt i am not being horrible, it means i actually like you as a person |
