You can have public photos that don’t disclose who you are. Many people have jobs that would frown on this type of lifestyle.
As for sharing photos, its up to you if you want to or not, just be aware that not all the ladies you speak with are genuine. |

We always ask for a picture and if we like the look of a man we’ll send one back.
If not we won’t. If you don’t like the situation then don’t send one - simple.
To be honest if someone has no pictures at all on their profile we wouldn’t have engaged at all in the first place. |

If we made first contact then we'd send face pics first, if someone contacted us we'd expect them to send face pics first, if they don't want to then that would be the end of the conversation. |

There are plenty of pics you can put on your profile that won't mean you are recognised by anyone .That aside tho I never ask for face pics but I find after chatting for a while we tend to exchange them anyway.
Yes people can ask for a face pic but it doesn't mean I have to send it tho. If they won't chat anymore well that's fine too. But in my opinion if you ask for one you should send yours first. |

I'd always expect to swap face pics early on in a conversation, if it's going well.
If someone won't send me one, I'd just move on and tbh the lack of any pics would mean I would probably delete your message.
Like others have said, you can put non identifiable pics on your profile which might get you more interest
You might just get stuck on stalemate if you refuse to send a pic. |

"why is it more so now guys are expected to send first"
Simple supply and demand. There are plenty of single guys out there who are willing to send first, so if you don't you'll be at a disadvantage.
Not saying that's how it should be! |

How would you be 'at risk' by having body pictures?
And as others have said, if you've messaged first, then you should be the first to share.
