Really though? Surely that's just a case of seeing it less often, making it seem less prevalent?
I mean, to me posts like this just seem like they have zero chance, unless the guy is a solid 9/10? It's probably just my personal take on it, but I'd never meet someone off the back of a random forum post, having never spoken to the bloke. Surely that's just not safe, amongst other reasons not to? But then hey, we're boring and like to have a bit of rapport and a chat before we agree to meet. |

Few couples ( i say couples mainly the guy) ive tried the forum but theres only so many ways to "sex" it up a bit, i suppose my liking is a niche but when 95% of my "nice" messages go unread i took a chance  |

Hey I'm not trying to suggest it's wrong as such, but think of it this way. If Fab's own stats are to be believed, there's seldom less than 20k accounts online at a time. Let's assume half are single guys, and the other half couples and women. If every single guy posted on the forums, and that every couple and woman would reply to one thread. That's a 1/10,000 chance.
My point being single guys are dead up against it. To get a meet you've either gotta be insanely hot, or offer something the other 9,999 don't. That's just the numbers game unfortunately.
Obviously the numbers are made up, but you get the idea. |
