Anklets are just jewellery and currently fashionable so 9 times out of 10 mean nothing.
Look for those that are sporting letters like “HW” or more explicit words or symbols like the ace of spades or foxes.
I wear one when I’m feeling frisky but it’s more to send a signal to my husband than would-be playmates. Though I did meet one fun guy at least partially because of my anklet |

Why not do your own survey while out shopping or for a drink. Just approach said female wearing the Anklet and ask the question 'see you are wearing a lovely piece of jewelry on your ankle, so are you a swinger' be sure to write down their response so you can post your findings in? Lets say a month. It will be great for all of us to find out what the results are and clear this up |

Anne wears one. It is unadorned (no letters on it) but we like to think it sends out a signal that we are into 'the scene'... and can of course deny it if we didn't like someone raising it with us. |

Anklets are worn by ‘some’ hot wives and those with cuckold lifestyle tendencies.
Just saying.
Those who know, know. Especially those who have been in this lifestyle as long as I.
Goes back to the 70’s.
Not saying I would approach in anyway unsolicited unless worn in the right context and again ‘in the know helps’.
Agree many wear as simple jewellery and a fashion item and that’s great and no one should ever approach. Not cool.
For me, when one is worn by a hot wife, vixen, or cuck couple on the right ankle it is a massive turn on. |

noone has commented yet but I'm only 3 weeks in having it and 2 of that was in isolation 
Need to order a new HW anklet for summer come to think of it as my last one was just a pretty non descript one
