I'm a lover of tattoo's and I'm heavily covered, I do plan on more. Are you a lover or hater of tattoo's? Would this make a difference on your choice of meet? |

"No, don't like them and not attractive in anyway at all.
Would it put you off meeting if they had a tattoo?"
Not that it's remotely likely, but 'sleeves' and all over backs and legs, for example, would definitely be off-putting. An unpopular opinion given the ubiquitous nature of tattoos these days I suppose. |

Really? So you wouldn't meet a woman with them?
Only if she coloured them in with a sharpie."

Can't stand tattoo's personally. Don't find them attractive in any way and certainly not excessive tattoos on women.
I know I'm in the minority in society as well as on here lol.
Wouldn't meet someone (m or f) with sleaves or legs covered. And definitely not on neck or face. Just not for me.
But to each their own, if they make you happy, keep getting them. |

Am a big fan of tattoos (am in the process of getting a sleeve done) and love them on others, but S doesn't have any, but thats fine as it's his body and his choice. I am attracted to him with or without them

What if the lady was very attractive and had other good qualities, would a tattoo stop you meeting? Would be a shame if there was a connection or would you not interact simply for a tattoo? |

Wow sometimes you get a proper reality check on how other people think!
They're just like clothes. Sometimes they look great on people, other times not so much.
I've seen loads I like on women on here.
I got my first one at 18 and it's pretty shit but I still like it. It makes a good story. Booked in for another next month... |

I can't say that I find them distasteful at all, but the reason why I haven't got any is because, both my grandfathers had them, and in the end they turned into an indistinguishable mess as the skin alters over the years. I also had an older brickie working here who had a tattoo done during his national service. I had to ask him what it was, if he hadn't traced the outline of a Scottish piper, I'd never have guessed what it was. So I never had an overwhelming desire to get inked. |

It’s very interesting reading this thread. Tattoos definitely seem to be in the majority these days. Very much in trend and it seems that most people who have said they don’t like them, have had their opinion questioned or challenged in some way. A very interesting snippet of the online world we live in. |

Its interesting for me to ask why to get their prospective on the issue, it isn't to challenge or judge them I'm genuinely interested in their answer. I myself have tattoo's and know why I get them and find them attractive.
I would be equally interested in why people get face tattoo's which I don't particularly like but would still ask the question. |

I have both arms and legs fully tattooed and I obviously have a real passion for them, but a pet peeve of mine is when someone asks “so what does that mean” like can’t we just have tattoos that we think look good? That’s just my opinion, obviously a lot of people have tattoos with meaning, it’s not a dig just wanted to say |

Anyone else old enough to remember when you just went into the small pokey tattoo shop..you picked a design from off the wall..generally a limited choice of some of these.. panther.. eagle..Indian chief.. dagger going through a skull...etc..the tattooist was ungloved and generally had a ciggie on the go while he was tattooing....that was my first experience..in 1982 |

There are very few that I’ve seen that look actively attractive to me, and I have no interest in having any put onto myself, I get the whole thing of wanting to mark yourself as a memory of something important, but for me, if it were that important then I’m not going to forget it anyway. I don’t mind some on other people but I think it does get to the point where too many would put me off meeting someone. |

I don't mind them if they are arty ones rather than looking like graffiti/cartoons . Not keen on face tattoos. My thought is always how will they look over time, ie fade and blur? I've never felt the urge to get any. |

I have many, in the last 6 months alone I've done 32 hrs on my right side. Booked in for another 4 hrs in 4 weeks time and a long way to go yet. Finally had my throat done a few weeks back so it's getting it all connected with my sleeves, and chest next. Then onto blending my left arm to match. |

I wouldn’t have one done myself, class a wimp here, but I do appreciate tattoos, as long as they look okay.
My ex got a tattoo of a butterfly on her foot. It’s too big and looks awful. Just makes her foot look dirty. I don’t know if that’s down to poor penmanship or just the wrong choice of tattoo. |

Yes sadly it is different for everyone, so really is hard to judge. All I can say is that the tattooist who was working the other half of the studio has his done and told me that its the worst he's ever felt and I'm in for a hell of a day. 4 hours later and he's gutted that I didn't let out a murmer, squeak or groan. So to sum it up yes it hurts, of course it does anyone who says it doesn't is lying. But I would happily set there again and have it done instead of having say my elbows or hand done again as I found them far worse. Sorry if ita not much help but on a scale for me I would say a 7 out of 10 pain wise. Sadly it really is one of those you won't know until you get it situations |

"I'm a lover of tattoo's and I'm heavily covered, I do plan on more. Are you a lover or hater of tattoo's? Would this make a difference on your choice of meet? "
I have a lot, and it has casually caused issues with older partners wanting to meet up, never used to mention it to people but now I have to brand mySelf as heavily tattooed so that different generations and people don’t get upset?!? It’s an odd one I don’t really understand, the only time tattoos have slowed the dating process is on this site! |

"I have many, in the last 6 months alone I've done 32 hrs on my right side. Booked in for another 4 hrs in 4 weeks time and a long way to go yet. Finally had my throat done a few weeks back so it's getting it all connected with my sleeves, and chest next. Then onto blending my left arm to match. I can’t see any in your profile picture for some reason:-/
