Something that has happened very regularly on here is men messaging me and asking if I have Skype because they want to see me on cam and when I tell them that I don’t have Skype but will happily go on cam in the chat rooms here they will say they can’t or don’t know how to watch people on cam here and then will be really pushy trying to get me to go on Skype. It’s happened too many times now to be a coincidence.
Are a lot of people genuinely unable to watch people on cam here or is it a ploy to get me on Skype for some reason? |

I agree, I used to use it years ago but I can’t remember my log in now and I haven’t got round to creating a new account. I wouldn’t do it with someone I hadn’t chatted with before though.
What I was really asking though was should I be suspicious of people who ask to go on Skype because they can’t access cams here considering it happens so often which normally implies it’s some sort of rehearsed scam...they all tend to say pretty much the same thing.
If someone said something like I can cam here but I prefer Skype because it’s more private then I’d be less suspicious |
