I feel that Fab needs to have a No show button /verification. Three no-shows it stays on their profile for at least a month..

What do you think?

But people could just put them onto profiles they don't like

You can report profiles for not turning up to an arranged meet but I have no idea what it actually does, if anything, behind the scenes

So they weren’t actually a “no show” then?

Calderdale innit

I think no, people could use it spitefully on those they don't like.

Plus I think any profiles who got a no show on their profile would delete it and rejoin etc.

No I think it's an bad idea because it would be abused by people who have grudges against others on here. Considering how bad it can be on here people would just use it in spite .

Yes sadly that would likely happen…

why is meeting them at the local spoons a problem? Do you have something to hide

Despite being very pissed off with two no-shows last week, I think this would be a terrible idea.

It’s far too open to abuse

Having had a couples profile here and read many messages from desperate single men who seem to think they just have to say hi and are guaranteed a meet then I say absolutely not and that's coming from someone who has been messed around over the years I've been on here.

Good idea.

We could call it the 'Johnson Button', abbreviated as JB or BJ? ...discuss.

Anyway, unfulfilled promises and utter lies = No Show

Saved you meeting at a spoons which is a win and if you have 2 you need to move.

I don't agree with a no shoe button (open to abuse as others have said) but perhaps admin warn or remove them for repeat offences? No idea. If I say I'll meet someone I meet them. Whether Fab or any other site.

Great idea but it would be abused. If someone is unhappy they didn't get a reply or not the reply they wanted they'd hit the no show button.

The only way it'd work if the site had a meeting function. So you both voluntarily accept a meeting on certain time and date, and then you get a no show button only available through that meeting function.

I wouldn't use a meeting function either. I'm a grown adult I don't need to be clicking a button to say I've agreed to meet someone at a certain date and time. Plus this could just as easily abused on here if one person says no thanks at the end the other could easily say they didn't show.

Personally I've been lucky on here and have never had a no show. I've had a couple who I had an inkling they were not going to show because they went quiet beforehand so I cancelled the night before stating that I didn't think they would show and I wasn't travelling for someone who had no intention of showing funnily enough none replied so my gut feeling was right.
