When is the right time to ask their name?

I like to give my name out the moment someone looks at my profile title not sure why people are quite so paranoid about a first name I'm Tom and I imagine there is quite a lot of toms in the world I have nothing to hide and am very comfortable with the lifestyle I lead it's not illegal do any one can no my name. |

As long as I have something to call or refer to them by I don’t care if its their real name or a scene name.
If needed I will use my own pet names for them, especially if they insist on being called something stupid like thunderclit65 |

I'd like to know their name before meeting, even socially. I'm not really doing anything too shocking - just a single primarily meeting singles and I'm pretty good at judging who is cool, so not that big a deal to tell each other some personal info while chatting. Meeting as a couple I could see why you'd maybe want to be more discreet and use fake names. |

My name is Sarah, same as it says on my profile.
I did once call a FB by the wrong name for almost 12 months. He didn't like to correct me initially, then he got to like it. He hadn't told me his name so I think I just made one up and convinced myself he'd told me it.
I only found out when he'd booked a table at a restaurant and had to tell me it was booked under his real name (real name? What do you mean, "real" name?).  |

We play mostly in clubs and tends to be that we introduce ourselves afterwards quite often |

I was meeting someone regularly for a few months before we both realised we didn't know each others real names.
I usually just go by Bo on here there's only a handful of people know my real name. And they are the only people who I know theirs as well. |

Quite! Or telephone numbers! Getting their number is a must... I just feel safer knowing their phone number. If they refuse, then that's a deal breaker for me.
I save their number with their profile name, and that is when I ask them what name they'd like to be called, a Fab Name is fine. |

If I meet someone for me automatically that I introduce with my name..
I think is a way to show your trust to the others and it is paying back by trust.
I'm more worrying that my web browser selling my data than anyone can hurt to know my name HAHA |

More nicknames than anything. Massivecock Mike, Pete the Pounder, Racist Justin. They are all meaningful names to me! |
