Ha ha ha Leeds so good HS2 is stopping at Manchester!
Right our kid Manchester the place to be. Lots of stuff do museums art galleries and places of interest. The birth of locomotion the computer and the Halle orchestra.
Just enjoy the soul and heart beat of the north of England. Don’t be fooled by wannabes and pretenders you are in the city defined by its people!
Try Holts bitter if you’re from the south 4 pints will keep you regular for a month.

This place of culture and hallowed land
Where the various cultures collide
We Mancs are happy to abide
The home of those who seek solace
With roots of endeavour so easy to trace
Where minted is sound
Our heritage is bound
In the estates of Wythenshawe and Miles platting
Us Mancs will never be found lacking
So whilst on your sojourn listen to the lingo
And pay a visit to the Ardwick bingo
Have a pint or two of Holts Manchester Ales
After which insignificance will fall into pales! |
