What’s that all about ? If you say you delete all winks surely you should expect the same treatment in return, so why bother ?

I love a wink from someone!

I presume for a lot of people on here, couples and single women especially, they will receive an overwhelming amount of winks therefore a wink won’t seem like a big deal.

But for people like myself, getting a wink makes you feel good about yourself and sending one is just a way to get recognised or say hello

Each to their own though

OK... some people like to send/receive wink and some people don't but if you receive one I assume the person who sends it means they are interested on you, right? But then ...when you try to reply properly as it should: after reading their profile, looking what they are looking for, distance, pic etc .. make it nice and interesting along with some pic, suddenly you get ghosted! What does that mean and why people does that ?

Arse end of the universe

I guess it depends on how many winks you get… I don’t look at mine, then see if have bloody loads, might scroll through… then delete them all… because I like an orderly box

I agree, they shouldn't block winks then use them, that's just do as I say not a I do!! Quite weird really.

Quick question on winks - I use the mobile version and have no idea if my wink has been sent or not as there's nothing to say it's gone. I find myself tapping the button loads but nothing. I'm not meaning I get no reply, just nothing from the site to acknowledge the action. Is this the same for everyone?

A wink is an expression of interest if I wink and someone winks back I would message

I'm not a big fan of winks. I just think it's a tad lazy because if a guy is that interested then why not just message us? It only takes a couple of minutes to message someone x

Why though? If you are interested, make it known by writing a message.

Maybe if you wink back they'll know it's a worthwhile use of their time writing you a nice message.

I've lost count of the number of couples who I'm compatible with, interested in and who want a decent message written but have then completely ignored it. A complete waste of my time.

Winks are a complete waste of time with a busy inbox.

I disagree that winks are a waste of time. Call me lazy or maybe that I just have a busy life and I send a wink to someone much in the same way as I’d smile at someone across a bar to let them know I’m interested.. you get a wink/smile back and then hit with a message or a conversation (remember those!?)… surely this is a better path to proceed than the dreaded cut/paste shite filling many couple/fems inboxes (I have a couples and my other half has a fem profile so know this at first hand).

Conversely, my other half doesn’t take any notice of winks so we’d never have met in Fabworld hahaha…

Each to their own I guess how you respond and communicate on here.. but winks are a yes from me

The worst one is when they say "send face pic with message or be deleted." And their profile is a silhouette!

True story. I had a message of a couple today that just said'Hello'

I looked at there profile before replying at it was another one of those ones with, You must send a face pic and no one liners, have some imagination or your message will be deleted and no winks.

So I deleted there message and sent a new one to them saying 'Hi'

It backfired though as I'm male and they deleted my message. I love this ego game on here
