Hi all!
I really have a thing for curvy or larger women...always have since I was about 18. Does offend people the fact I state 'BBW' or 'larger/curvy' ? I never know if it's off putting for the bigger girls to read?
Also on this note does anyone know of any good date/hookup sites to meet this kind of lady...I'd love to find a relationship mainly though

I don’t think anyone should be offended by you stating your preferences, as long as you’re not being disrespectful to those who don’t need your criteria. We all have our own likes and dislikes.

For whatever reason, at majority of 'BBW' club nights you find some clientele who are certainly not plus sized - fair enough if the club is also open to regular members on the same night, but when it's an organised party, you start to wonder why.. My friends and I have our own opinions which I won't divulge.
At a recent 'Curvy' night, there were ladies there with no Curves at all, and then me with all the lumps bumps and rolls in the world!
In my years on the scene I have only seen one club night which states you must be size 18+ to attend.
It is what it is. Open to a whole lot of interpretation!

I don’t like the term bbw - I’m fat and the beautiful bit is in the eye of the beholder, however I’m not offended by the words. I think the thing that can cause issues is if someone likes me because I’m fat rather than likes me for me. Then that would put me off. It’s a fine line I guess. |

We have a very successful event we run @ Jaydees, we call it Beautiful Curvy Ladies. It’s becoming more popular each event. It’s not aimed what people would say BBW but aimed at women with curves, that’s bum or boobs or both. But it’s not exclusively for them we welcome all shapes and sizes. |

Clubs that promote curvy / bbw nights .. aren’t they for the admirers too… So in my eyes an admirer can be a size 10/12 too. But I also get that some aren’t admirers but enjoy the club scene or even that event.

I like that many parties are inclusive and welcoming of everybody and every body.

I have always wanted to attend a BBW night, but won't go if it's open to everyone. I wanted to go to feel like I was part of the gang so to speak. I am learning to love my body, but I do feel conscious around super slim ladies and don't want to feel like that on a BBW night. |

Unsurprisingly we are definitely fans of the more voluptuous ladies!! And have to say that getting fabs etc on here definitely helped boost Mrs Early's self confidence |

If I were slimmer and attended would I upset other people? Though let’s be honest I’ll always have curves!

I don’t have any objection to men who openly like bigger women - why would I when it benefits me?
The only time someone openly liking that puts me off is when they feel the need to be negative (or sometimes downright nasty) about slim women. |

I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to attend a BBW evening. There is obviously alot of love on this site for us BBW which is fantastic, though visiting a club or attending a social is still something I haven't experienced yet due to lack of confidence. And to answer the original question, I think the term BBW is rather lovely. |

I think this is something I’d like to try too tbh. Feeling a little More confident since our first meet on Friday and I dont think a club scares me as much as the thought of that did hahahah! X |

My first (and second) club visit was to Chams BBW night in December and I’d thoroughly recommend it.
I’m not remotely confident in my body and yet I felt comfortable because of the nature of the night and because I wasn’t the only person who wasn’t a size 10.
It was a great introduction to clubs. |

I think curvy can be misleading. As others have said I’ve seen people size 10/12 call themselves curvy. |
