Don’t trade it. You’ll end up losing more in fees
than you’ll make. My software engineer friend is super bullish about Etherium as it’s becoming the blockchain for so many real world applications. Last night he promised me that if it didn’t increase 300% in the next six months that he’d make up the difference. He’d also had a lot of beers though |

Given the performance of ETH this year, even allowing for the huge drop back in May, it is hitting new ATH on a regular basis and 300% may sound high but with the prospect of the shift to ETH2 and it moving from proof of work to proof of stake which should see a massive reduction in mining energy and hopefully a similar drop in gas fees, I can see it being quite possible. |

Don’t do it mate. I deal in penny shares young companies i research what they are all about look in to what they do and how they perform on the stock market. Invest into them and sit with them. Made excellent gains. Into one at the moment that’s sitting pretty at the moment and certain to bring big gains in the future. |

I’d always research any coin before I’d buy it. But it’s worth doing if you have some spare money you’d be okay with losing. You’re better off buying a coin and holding it for a bit rather looking at pure trading to begin with.
Whatever platform you’ve set up make sure it’s easy to deposit into as some can charge a heavy fee for depositing money. |

alt coins invest in xrp, cardano, hbar, ent. for ling term holds.
invest in shitcoins/meme coins for short term insane gains, anywhere from 5x to 1000x in a matter of weeks to months.
the trick is to find high risk huge potential low market cap coins.
e.g doge, shiba inu, safemoon, hoge finance, etc.
you missed the boat on those ones, but more are popping up.
the new big dig in town is floki inu.
sitting at 2bil mcap set to go 50bn +
2bil mcap to 50 bn will be a 25x on initial investment e.g 1k will become 25k.
the key is to get in at as low mcap as possible.
my mate hot in early on shitcoins and turned it into 7 figures.
then there's passive income opportunities, coins that reward you in Btc, Eth, Bnb, Ada, Dot, matic etc.
Then there's yielding/farming/staking which compounds your investment faster than anything else on this planet.
so mamy options, its an incredible time to ve alive to earn financial freedom

you should look into low cap high risk coins, i highlighted it in one of my replies above.
Dont worry, a crash is coming soon to wipe out the value of all coins.

You've really got to do your research, maybe start at the start, really find out what a blockchain is, read about early crypto culture, and then find the projects that are fulfilling that.
Don't be a sheep thinking crypto is a coin, it's the most advanced technology since AI and electricity, it's the new steam engine, and we are at the stage where the steam engine was at in its early days.
Step 1: pumping coal out of mineshafts :O wow! Step 2: autoloom! Nice! Step 3: ??? Step 4: quantum topological bio computational artificial intelligence simulating super-parallel semi stochastic knowledge hypergraphs. •v• p?p I'm seeing the void...
Btc was just moving value, eth was just looking smart contracts, Cardano is the major step 3, but there are a lot of technologies that use blockchains nicely.
Crypto hasn't happened yet, so as long as there is a real team with a good idea that already has large customers who have said they are going to use the tech, you can't really go wrong.
When blockchains are used for every single aspect of life in the same way that electricity is used for literally everything directly or indirectly, then it will be hard to find new projects to invest in since the market will finally reach saturation.
Until then, you just have to search, right now we are in the scammers and con artists phase where the really dirty stupid people come in to try to make Blood money off of hype and other people who are even more stupid then them.
You might have to wait until that is over to be honest, it's all become noise for me too. |

Making small profits every day of roughly £50 quid and investing the profit in buying bitcoin.. i own a whole 0.1 of a bit coin worth £4.5K from an orginal investment of £500. I caught the LRC pump luckilly which made me a decent return. Bought each for 71p and sold them all for 2.46 |

i agree with everything except your last line.
dont wait till its over, because there is always going to be scammers. you'll miss the boat if you do.

chump change, and pointless. you could be putting that money to work investing in better projects. investing in bitcoin is pointless unless you have the money to buy more than one coin.
i made more than your entire bitcoin value in 30 seconds with an altcoin presale.

Some dick swinging in here I see…
Do your own research and don’t ask on a swinging forum. You could end up losing a lot of money on a rug pull or the advice of someone with a vested interest in a project.
Basics you want to be looking at are the project, the people behind the project, marketcap etc
Don’t day trade you’ll lose more than you earn, and remember you’ll never buy at the bottom or realistically sell at the top.
Crypto is a long term investment, so don’t look to buy big and make mad gains in the short term. Yes it can be done but you’ve got to be pretty lucky or have some inside knowledge to pull it off.
I at one point had over 8 btc but used them, at the time they were worth about £50 each. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!
Coins I own atm are mainly Ada as I like the project and the people behind it. It’s already more than tripled in value since I was buying coin. It peaked at £2.42 or something and I sold some at around £2.10. It then bombed to just over £1.40 but has gone back up to around £1.66.
I’ve lost nothing as I’ve not sold, I took out my initial investment and the rest is pure profit. There are staking options with coins, this is basically interest and pays more than any bank, you can make a nice profit from that, more you stake the more you earn back.
There are also ways of getting free crypto, publisd0x or coinpayu for instance. My advice would be to find a coin you like the project of, and invest but only invest what you can afford to lose. Checkout Coinbase as there are ways to get free crypto from there too.
Finally never store your coins on an exchange, always in an offline cold wallet, ensure you’ve got your recover key/pass and never share that with anyone. If you’re a serious investor then I’d suggest a trezor key, which is a hardware wallet.
There is a brilliant community on Reddit, who will give you advice on these things and are more trustworthy than a bunch of swingers |

i agree with almost everything you said except.
do day trade, i know many successful day traders.
just because YOU suck at day trading, dont discourage others.
Op can be successful at day trading if he puts in the work and learns from someone successful.
also, successful investors can exist on a swinging forum and reddit and any other platform with a social platform at the same time.

I've never said I day trade or not, so don't make assumptions.
Absolutely successful investors can be on here, or on reddit, however, the majority of people all say don't day trade.
The overall point I was making here, is there are better places to gain information from, I would presume the knowledge pool here is quite small, compared to reddit/bitcoin forums etc.
Crypto is like a casino, only bet what you can afford to lose. DYOR - Do your own research. HODL - Hold on to your coins.
Again it's a long term investment, and not a get rich quick scheme. Doge/Squid etc have all shown there is no get rich quick scheme for the masses, a few may have made millions, but the masses got shafted. |

i agree with you once again.
the way you spoke about day trading made it sound like you were speaking from experience which is why i made my assumptions, glad you cleared that up.
squid was a rug pull though, and you are right, there is no get rich scheme, but there is a get rich quicker than other methods strategy and crypto (if you know how) is it.
i know how, and im happy to share the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. im not a millionaire yet but im close, and i meet and congregate with 6-7 figure earners in the crypto space. im not here to swing a dick or boast.
only sharing whats possible and that everyones potential is higher than they think.

hedge finance launched 4th november.
as of today, its done 90x and sitting at 30ml mcap.
if you invested 1k on 4th of nov. today you'd have 90k to cash out. you'd be grinning from ear to ear.
crypto's like this are launching daily/weekly/monthly.

Portfolio os now worth 1.2 million dollars.
I think we have another leg up, between 75-80k btc at which point we'll see it drop a about 30 percent and then when it starts to retrace up to 70% area back towards the high, if the alt coins are blowing up that will be my cue to sell and wait for the bear to see us drop 80% until I can chuck money back in!
What are you all thinking about for the peak of the cycle? |

i know alot of people made big money on bit coin, i also know alot of people who made alot on the stock market.
however i also know alot who lost big, one of my old school friends made a load young on the stock market, he was loaded in his 30s, killed himself when he lost it all, so remember any investment can go down, so only bet what you can afford to loose.
as to bit coin, i think the only people who made big money were the early investers, untill the next big thing happens then i think things will stay pretty much the same, give or take, personaly i dont get how something that doesnt really exsist have a value, maybe im looking at it wrong, at least if i invest in a property for instance, i still have something to sell at the end, what ever its value.
this is why i dont work in the city lol |

It’s a meme coin. I’d say stay away from that (and other meme coins).
I think the days of become a millionaire off of a few hundred are pretty much gone. But you might still see up to 10x increase in coins such as Loopring or Sys. Maybe a doubling of ethereum in the next 6 months. |

I’m just getting into it. I’m holding vechain and holochain but looking for other potential gems. The crypto people on YouTube say vechain has unlimited potential, I’m prepared to buy and just sit on it and be patient. Anybody with any tips on coins to check out please reply and I will have a look at them |

Super bullish on loopring (LRC). They have excellent technology which is endorsed by Vitalik and is going to make a big difference to the ethereum gas fee problem.
They're also partnering up with Gamestop for an Nft marketplace. We're just waiting on the official announcement confirming it. There have been leaks in the loopring code which indicate they're working with gamestop. This is huge in itself. The only two stocks you need are GME and LRC right now. Not financial advice. |

Also if you guys want a good source of education about crypto, there are two really good channels to watch. Coinbureau and Whiteboard Crypto.
I'd highly recommend learning about crypto before jumping in. |

"Don’t do it mate. I deal in penny shares young companies i research what they are all about look in to what they do and how they perform on the stock market. Invest into them and sit with them. Made excellent gains. Into one at the moment that’s sitting pretty at the moment and certain to bring big gains in the future. "
I'm interested, fancy sending me a message and telling me which one? |

I'm doing a lot of research on cryptocurrency, I still haven't evenjoined an exchange, the fees seem so high and I'm finding it a little bit confusing.
All I want to do is invest just a few £100 in bitcoin for the moment and leave it there, in the future and they want to buy other bits and pieces as I learn more about them.
It's a bit confusing at the start, hopefully I will get there! |

"Given the performance of ETH this year, even allowing for the huge drop back in May, it is hitting new ATH on a regular basis and 300% may sound high but with the prospect of the shift to ETH2 and it moving from proof of work to proof of stake which should see a massive reduction in mining energy and hopefully a similar drop in gas fees, I can see it being quite possible.
That’s what he said "
I’m only interested in crypto that is focussed on solving real world problems using blockchain, not gimmick dog coins etc, working with regulators globally, has an eye on emerging markets like Africa , Asia and LATAM. Does ETH pass this test ? |

I'm not sure but any exchange I look at seems to have really bad reviews on trustpilot, I've been looking at kucoin and Swissborg.
They seem to either have really bad reviews or high fees or both! |

yes, use Vetter. vetter ai. a crypto dapp that lists projects to invest in. always do your own research first before investing in a crypto just because everyone else is or someones telling you to. |

Ive explained this above and i'll explain again. Your profit when researching coins is based on how much you invested/coins purchased at the Market Cap value before the MCV increased x the MCV increase.
For example.
We'll use " shiba inu " as an example.
If you bought 1 million shiba inu's for £200 at a MCV of 200K.
And that MCV increased to 1mil. You just 5x'd your investment. Shiba inu with a marketcap of 1mil, means your £200 is now worth 1k.
You just invested in shiba inu 2 weeks ago for £200. The current MCV of shiba inu at time of writing this comment is 20 bil gbp.
Shiba inu's mcv will need to reach 40 billion to turn your £200 into £400 pound.
It took shiba a whole year nearly to reach its current mcap.
You are prepared to wait a year to turn £200 into £400?
lol.
imo, sell your shiba.
and reinvest in low cap projects. Presales will be your best bet to begin with.

sorry to burst your bubble but as i said in one of my posts above about marketcap, £100 in bitcoin is literally pointless.
you cant come into this game with £100 and invest into projects you already missed the boat on. Just doesnt make any sense. |

"coinmarketcap.com
check out sand, the sandbox, another metaverse token.
will be big!
literally globally successful game, minecraft on steroids. "
proof is in the pudding. I called this coin long before november but was late to share on fab, at the time of this message it was pennies, shot straight up to 6 now £4.80.
Easy 6x - 10 x in 3 weeks. You do the math with your own investment.
if mr shiba inu quite a few comments above put his £200 into SAND instead of shiba inu, mr shiba inu would have made £1200,sell it then can use that to reinvest in another coin, rinse and repeat. instead of being stuck HOLDING £200.
this is the beauty of compounding/doubling your money with crypto.
unless you want to wait years for crap profit investing couple hundred in long term coins.
id say go down this route.
Or you could put £100 in bitcoin and make £16 profit when bitcoin moves up 16%
upto you. |

store your coins in a wallet, not an exchange.
if the exchange gets fucked you may lose your money. if your coins are in a wallet you keep your coins.
thats why. i only use exchanges to exchange and thats it. Exchange crypto for crypto. Send and recieve crypto between wallets, and convert crypto into fiat. THATS it.
or trade if you want trade. |

A colleague invested in bitcoin right in the early days when they were a start-up. Made hundreds of thousands when they hit $10,000. Now owns an apartment in Manhattan and Berlin from the proceeds.
As with most things, gamble/invest with what you can afford to lose.

I know this is a tread about crypto not Bitcoin so lets make that clear that Bitcoin is not crypto. It is a free market so if you want to speculate on alt coins it is down to you. But if you havent done any research into BTC, read a book like the Bitcoin Standard by Seifaden, or even made a transition on the lightning network I am afraid you are missing the wood for the trees.
By the way before you start trading you should understand the tax implications. That’s a job on itself. Lots of people make money but it is no that simple and takes lots of research. Good luck |

Hard core believer here. With it being a bear market most of my attention is on dollar cost averaging Bitcoin and Etherium . For now I'm not really looking at ALTcoins at least not until sentiment changes again. |

I just think it’s one of the most boring ways to make money., behind S&S even , leave it the old guys and geeks in tank tops and do something more fun
Having said that I did make a lot of money during lockdown not just on BTC but Amazon , Apple, Microsoft stock and a bit less on Tesla but cashed out and bought my house when I’d made enough.
I just find it all so boring tbh |
