Absolutely no way. Seems it appeals to many on this thread but can't think of anything more horrendous. We swing together because we both enjoy being a part of each others pleasure. Somehow having another relationship outside of your marriage isn't about swinging and excludes one half of our team. |

We have accidentally fallen into this. We weren't looking for it but I now have a husband and a boyfriend, hubby has me and a girlfriend. We may all be going away together for a weekend soon hopefully. It's definitely taking a lot of communication and grace to work out the details as we go, but I am very happy. |

Can assure you it does I’ve been in this situation a few times although mines slightly different because I don’t have a sexual relationship with my husband but I have had proper boyfriends and they do meet my husband and get on well. |

Can say have been in this situation with a wife and hubby. He worked away a lot and encouraged wife. But when he was back we would have mmf fun too. We all became great friends. Based on mutual respect no ego nor jealousy. Went on for 4years. Even played golf with hubby. Sometimes would pop round for coffee too. ....was amazing.

If it works for both wife and husband then good luck. Been in this situation three times with my wife and it almost ended our marriage each time. Whereas my wife’s many more casual arrangements with other men has been a recipe for a successful marriage. |

Not exactly the scenario you're describing but back when I was in a swinging/open relationship my gf met a guy that tried to take her from me under the guise of a poly-type setup. She'd have both of us and pick who she wanted. I wasn't keen and she confessed he then asked her to leave me for him if I wouldn't. She called it a day with him and she suggested a rule that on our open side we never meet people more than once. |

Highly unlikely sorry. We have been swinging for years and don’t see this with the many couples we know. Yes a lot have very close friends and meet regularly and alone but they don’t do what you looking for. One of the main reasons in our experience is you have to be comfortable with your relationship to swing and share. |

Doable but not easy.
If hubby is away on the oil rigs or international business it is pretty straightforward.
But it can be difficult when a married couple together 7 days a week but have seperate partners and one may get jealous?
The new relationship energy can cause one to not realise neglecting the spouses feelings.
Or if the spouse gets sick you have to tell the other partner they come first...
Still doable.
