I seem to keep coming across profiles with a firm line on beards. You can see mine - is it a definite dealbreaker? what are your thoughts, Fab?

Not a deal breaker but as a whole, I think men look sexier with beards.

I think of you like having a beard why would you even think of shaving it off just because a few people you don't even know don't like beards.

Don't change to suit others on here.

Don’t mean this to sound harsh but even if you shave it off, is it suddenly going to make those who don’t like beards automatically like you? Just do what you want - if you fancy a change to see how you get on, shave it off. Can always grow it back.

Keep the beard in fact more beard.

As a barber you can take that as a professional opinion. It’s like your doctor telling ya.

A friend of ours, who we meet regularly, sent a little whatsapp video prior to our last meet. He wanted to share that he'd grown a beard and he really hoped it wasn't a problem

So cute.

I'll say to you what I said to him - it's your face, your facial hair. You do what you like with it!

It's nice that you guys care enough to ask though xx

If you like the beard keep the beard, If you want a change get rid of it. It shouldn’t matter what other people think, it’s upto you.

If you like the beard, keep it! Why would you shave it off to, 1) Please someone you don't know at all, and 2) For the slight possibility that they will now consider having sex with you? Stay you and aim for your people!

I have a beard too. Sometimes it’s shorter, sometimes it’s longer but it’s always there. I also see plenty of profiles saying they don’t like men with beards. I just don’t message them. There are plenty who enjoy a good beard and they are more my type

I have been told in the past ‘we’d meet you if you want to shave your beard off’ urm, no you’re alright. I’ll pass on that thanks

Definitely this ^^

And it has nothing to do with my preference for guy's with beards.

But why on earth would you shave it off, in the hope that some random stranger on here might like it?

You chose to have a beard for a reason, so I certainly wouldn’t be getting rid of it just because a few profiles don’t like it! Chose what you want to do, not what you think others would prefer! Having said that if Mr suddenly shaved his off, I’d cry for at least a week haha Miss pc

Obviously I am biased but it looks great to me. touch of Sir Francis Drake.

Loads of women like beards. Concentrate on them.

Beards could well tickle the fancy so what is to lose by keeping a well groomed one?

At the other extreme, the avuncular Father Christmas look sits well with many women.

I wish people would understand the simple difference between 'jealous' and 'envious'.

99% of the time people really mean 'envious',thankfully. Envy is a fairly normal activity.

Jealousy, on the other hand, is a totally different beast and not something anyone needs to get caught up with,EVER.It is nothing but destructive and ruins people's lives. I've been on the wrong end of it twice and that is more than enough.
