I hear so many people saying them so often that it dilutes any real deep meaning for me , however I did tell my 3 Wood I loved it once after a particularly spectacular recovery shot into the wind at the 17th hole at St Andrews so it has its uses .. |

These mere words
Should be uttered merely with genuine good intention and from the heart.
But if spoken n expressed way too often,
Like anything they lose the Volume ,value and worth. Especially with partners!
With parents and children and true blood relations the dynamic is a complete new concept.
With people of the opposite attraction it can become a tool and powerplay and much more

Daily to children. Hubby most days but sometimes forget as too busy telling him about something he hasn’t done around the house
My daughter tells me multiple times a day. She can’t leave the house without telling me. It’s lovely to hear.

Im not one to say it v often, it then has much more impact when I do say it. I think saying it all the time, sometimes is doing it for the sake of it. You can show love regularly in your actions or in other ways. |

"Several times a day to my sons and they say it back
Sadly it meant so very little to the last man I said it to "
If he doesn’t appreciate you then you’re better off without him x |

I say it so many times a day to my husband & children. It doesn't matter how many times I say it, it never means any less, it means I still absolutely love you every single minute of the day & night. I type it to them a lot as well, just incase they forget haha x

"I say it most days to my kids. Regularly to my family and my dog.
Last said it to a partner the night he ended it in January. . That’s sad x"
He said it too, but it just couldn't work. Still friends which is the best thing. |

I don't tell my partner, as he knows I love him. I am an introvert, and I have a very complex mind, so words don't come easy. He has told him he loves me, twice. I think I have told him a couple of times. Most importantly, we show love in practice, even though we don't normally express it with words. |

I've given up saying it as my wife doesn't know what it means. I've also given up trying to cuddle her too. I don't get any affection from her unless she wants something...simple. Needless to say the reason I'm here! |

I tell my family and my closest friend it frequently. I sometimes think I'm close to saying it outside of that but realise I'm dickstruck.
Every time it's said it's meant, it doesn't get diluted if it's heartfelt. When you lose someone you learn to tell people how you feel because you never know if it'll be the last chance to/it will go unsaid. |
