Shame you're so far away!
It's a great experience but if you've never tried it before take care & make sure the person you're with knows what they're doing.  |

Looking on the site that can't be mentioned, there appears to be a Manchester Rope Event group that lists a Manchester Rope Jam and also a Stockport Peer Rope.
I don't know the people who run these events or who attends them (so I can't recommend them) but they could be worth investigating, and could give more options in regard to being tied.
Also, I imagine some of the people would attend local munches and you could get an idea about the events from talking to people at the munches.

I can recommend a lovely lady to talk to in your area on The Site With No Name, too, and I’m pretty sure she ran rope events before lockdown? |

Thanks guys ... I'm Aware of the site which cannot be named and active on there and even know of the events.
But attending as a single is tricky .... sometimes the rope scene can be a little cliquey and I was hoping to find someone that I could connect with not just in a platonic manner. I'm also covering all bases lol |

It’s a shame you’re not closer. We’ve both been into shibari for a while but I’ve always been the one being tied I’d love to meet someone who I can learn with and learn a little more about suspension.
