Can you imagine one where you have couples and singles all playing in a swinging environment. I think it would work you know. The stories could get really interesting. |

I used to play regularly pre covid, but with the world stopping it just kind of petered out.
Mr isn’t into it and we’re both quite busy now so can’t see me starting again soon. Do enjoy it though x |

"I don’t think I’ve ever played. Could this work online In a chat group type thing?"
There are some great online tools. Virtual Table Tops such as Fantasy Grounds, Roll 20 and Foundry are all great. |

Hi guys. We are currently trying to develop a dnd campaign with elements of swinging encorporated into the role play of the game.... I have started another thread where I'm hoping people who are interested will join in and make suggestions. Or modifications to the ideas we already have. We are quite new to dnd and to swinging so any one with experience of either or both, your help would be greatly appreciated. And of course the rules will be publicly posted for any one to use or change to suit their groups.
Here is the thread link. All input is welcome. |

I'm a forever GM, running in Fantasy Grounds Unity since it was Kickstarted and Classic Fantasy Grounds prior to that. And because I have an ultimate licence my players play for free. We have a channel on discord so we can voice chat while playing. 9 times out of 10 it works flawlessly. But sometimes someone drops out, or they can't see the maps and we have to wait five minutes while they clear the cache. |

Boxsets, like D&D, Star Trek, and the Cyberpunk Red jumpstart kit are a really powerful tool for learning by doing. I started out as the GM with the Lost Mine of Phandelver not having played 5e before and only having played D&D once in some long forgotten school. There were some wobbly bits but it generally works.
D&D essentials (the Dragon of Icespire Peak) can be played 1 to 1, it was designed so parents could teach their kids the rules without either of them having previous experience. Totally advocate for this methods if you want to get into it. |

Super super abusive. But we should have seen it coming, especially with what they'd been doing to the MtG fandom.
I'm going to buy the last of the 5e books, but I'm not going to give One DnD the time of day. There are so many amazing 3rd party products out there like Brancalonia or Trudvang 5e, or other systems like Mothership or Knives in the Dark that deserve my time and money more than Hasbro does. |
