I still enjoy the stories but The Doctor is a bit "children's entertainer" and over enthusiastic in her acting.

Must admit I’ll probably watch the rest of the series - more out of habit than anything - I’ve watched every episode since Christopher Eccleston played the Doctor in 2005 - but it’s definitely gone very downhill.

They need someone as great as David Tennant was to revive the role - and the special effects at the beginning looked more akin to a children’s TV series - which it’s in danger of becoming tbh.

Unfortunately, the next Dr will have yet more woke & pc boxes to tick and will continue to ruin it.

I agree. I find it difficult to watch her. I'd love a new doctor.

Rumours are the new Dr is Eamon Holmes

I dont think jodie is too bad. I think it's more Chris china's piss poor writing, making everything political and box ticking. After this series he's gone though and so is jodie. Russell t Davies is back (he brought it back in 2005) no news on new doc yet though

I doubt it - but if it was I’d watch it - I thought he was brilliant in ‘It’s a Sin’.

Russel T Davies is a far better writer than the current lot. I know Dr Who by its nature is far fetched - but 7 billion humanoid dogs who’ve come to rescue humanity at our hour of peril?

He was great. Think Eddie Redmayne would make a great new doctor.

Well, seeing that we were given cat aliens back in series 2, it makes sense that there would be dog aliens too.

ho hum, the doctor has to save the world again on a topical day, christmas, halloween whatever..

The effects have all been used before, even the storyline is a bit from avengers (DC comics).. The statues were about the scariest thing they've come up with, but re-vamping the same foe is getting a bit tedious..

Jodie is hamming it up too much and as said before the writers need regeneration..

sorry .. not impressed..
