Just curious, some say it's clenliness, some say it makes them more sensitive.
We've found that neither applies and we both prefer hairy pussies.

Because it's the trend. In the 70s not shaving was the norm. Nobody made silly "eeewww" and "boak" (whatever that means) noises then at the sight of a hairy woman. Perhaps some did at the sight of a shaved one! |

I don't think I would ever tell anyone to shave, but if they asked for my preferance then I would be quite happy to say shaven or trimmed.
There is a difference between having a preferance and having it as an overarching requirement. |

i shave simply because i am dark, i have black hair, thats very thick, seriously noone wants to see a minge with black hair, it looks ugly and i was very self conscious about it, my ex used to take the piss all the time about my body hair, as im just hairy all over natrually, i do my body top to bottom, i get my arms waxed regular as well as my top lip etc, its just one of those things ive always lived with, tho i was born in England im Sicilian by oragin and women over there just are dark and hairy, theres bugger all i can do about it, so now i just take the lot off saving giving anyone a nasty shock  and it just looks better than being covered in black hair |

I just read the article Femme gave the link to. I stopped shaving over a year ago (now get Rain to strim it with his beard trimmer, lol - a lot less work for me...I just lie back and have a ciggy  ). I stopped because I was sick of repeated shaving rashes and I can't use depilatory creams as they burn and leave me with blisters worse than a shaving rash. Having read the article if I hadn't already swapped to trimmed I would now be chucking the razors and heading for the scissors instead.
As said by others, it is personal preference....I like clean shaven and close trimmed....not a fan of bushes....although I doubt it would ever be a deal breaker. |

I prefer a short trim so that it's neat and tidy, the only reason to shave completely would be to please my man and nothing more and I am sure if more women were honest they would say the same.

The guardian article as some fair points but There are arguments for both sides, recent studies have shown that shaving/waxing pubic hair decreases the chances of a woman developing thrush as well has helping to prevent pubic lice from inhabiting the area. At the end of the day it's personal choice, I'm shaven as to me it feels more hygienic to be n I prefer shaven or trimmed in return |

That is very true. A recent report suggested that shaven pubes, whether male or female, increase the chances of picking up infections because it leaves the pours open and vulnerable.
I don't point this out as a supporter of either hair or shaven pubes. Just revealing the facts. For me personally, it depends on the person. Some suit shaven, some trimmed, some suit hair. |

And if people think hairs good why if you go into hospital for a op they shave your bits the places that have hair ? I have a sort landing strip and thats all i will ever have . Im quite lucky being fair and been veeting so many years not much hair grows down there and I do it when it either needs doing that could be anything up to 3 months intbetween. And on men I like a bit of hair I like a man to look manly lol not like a schoolboy |

Can't say I have a preference but In my youth when pubic hair was the norm the occasional shaved pussy was a big turn on. Now it's the other way round, seeing a nice bush is very welcome and much prefer the unshaved look to a shaved pussy covered in a razor rash or even worse....stubble ! |
