I've done both and met with real couples and FWB couples. It didn't really make any difference, I was their guest and we all had fun together.
I've also done both the other way where I was part of the couple with my at the time girlfriend and had a few guys join us on different occasions. As well as a few threesomes with 2 different FWBs and a guy has joined us. I have mixed opinions there as it felt naughtier with the FWBs that the 3 of us were meeting up just for sex, but really hot to be sharing my girlfriend |

Definitely like to meet “ proper” couples — they have an established relationship and are just adding some “ extra” to it.
Far less risky 
Much greater chance of both being at a meet - don’t want a guy saying the lady couldn’t make it but let’s play anyway!!!!! |

Surely the whole point of an FWB is that they are both there just for the benefits as well so not sure how that could tear them apart unless they had become a couple without realising it. Then I can understand it. |

We'd rather a full time couple simply because there's probably fewer people involved that can scupper a meet. A lot of FB and FWB couples have partners of their own and therefore more chance of someone falling ill or having something else on, and then having to cancel on us. |
