Awkwardly chatting to someone on fab only to discover you use know each other

So I’ve been chatting to a couple on fab for about a week now exchanging fantasies, things we want to try out sexually and even swapped pics, was going great and we were trying to arrange a meet but we wanted to swap face pics before any meets as we hadn’t done that before,
Now it gets awkward they’ve sent me a picture of them and i know them both very very well and can’t bring myself to let them know who i am now it’s too embarrassing. Has anyone else had this issue or an issue similar |

Lesson for future. Get face pic before sex chat.
Whatever you do, don't say you know them and not send your pic because that'll make them paranoid and they'll probably leave here.
Maybe you could send a pic and have a laugh with them about how you know eachother a bit better now. |

Major lesson learned but the couple in question weren’t keen on exchanging face pics straight away they asked to keep it discreet until we got to know each other better but even that has backfired on me lol
I’m not going to let on i know them or let them know it’s me i wouldn’t dare embarrass them or myself like that
It’s just really awkward now after the conversations we’ve had and having to see them again in public knowing what i now know |

Maybe they already know who you are but didn't want to let you know that.
Would you think the same if you met them at a swing club? I think if it was me I'd just go for it, but I'm in the way of seeing humour in most things.
On the other hand, are you sure you were chatting to both parties? |

No all my pictures were private until tonight when i changed the privacy settings the pics that we exchanged were mostly chest down well mines were so i kept distinguishing features like tattoos ect out of them |

Maybe you’re right i don’t think I’ll ever know if they knew who i was. What do you mean would i think the same if i met them at a club?
Well sometimes it would only be the mr sometimes it was just the mrs but most of the time they always insisted they were both there |

I just mean, would you be embarrassed if they or anyone that knew you saw you at a swingers club?
Also, a lot of couples on here have their own individual profiles, so even if you've blocked the couple one, they could still see your pics on a single profile. Sorry if that alarms you, but thought it'd be best you knew there's that possibility. |

My full colour face goes in friends only. I've nothing to hide or any shame. I just prefer it that way. If there was anyone on here knew me well at all they'd still know it was me from what is public. Up to them if they want to block me or chat to me. |

I’ve been recognised twice on here now.
First one was the secretary at a company I worked for a few years ago and waited until the whole office was empty then asked me about squirting and started laughing lol
The second one was a woman who was married that I was chatting to for quite a while who one day posted a phot of her in a new dress without her face and I recognised the dress from my Facebook so after a bit of digging I finally found the picture and it turned out to be a very close family friend. |

Part of me thinks fuck it unblock them send the face picture it is what it is but at the same time I’m like nope fuck that too risky will blow up in my face I’m tore between them both |

It can't really blow up in your face as you probably know a few things about them that isn't discussed at family dinners! It'll either be a case of being "too close to home" and nothing said between you goes any further, or "well this has just got a little more interesting" and it'll be good fun. I personally don't see anything to lose. |

You could say to them regardless of where anything goes or doesn't, that discretion will be maintained. I obviously don't know the full ins and outs of any chats you've had, but I'm guessing you'll both know enough about eachother that neither would want to be public knowledge so the whole discretion thing just has to be done.
And if you do go for it, and unblock them, explain that you were a little apprehensive or shocked, and weren't sure what to do/say so you temporarily blocked them. Btw I'm pretty sure people you've blocked can still see anything you write in forums. |

I think after agreeing to swap face pics you have to go ahead.
I know if I was chatting to you for a while and after sending a face pic I was suddenly blocked you would be regarded as a time waster or fake |

I'd have probably made an excuse up as to why a meet could no longer go ahead, and then moved on. I think because I wouldn't want them to feel any kind of way that they may do after sending pics, sharing fantasies and then being blocked.
I can appreciate that it was an uncomfortable situation, one I have never experienced. |

I'd have probably made an excuse up as to why a meet could no longer go ahead, and then moved on. I think because I wouldn't want them to feel any kind of way that they may do after sending pics, sharing fantasies and then being blocked.

I do feel bad for how i initially handled the situation and i never wanted to make them feel shit if that’s what I’ve done.
See if i only knew them like from the local pub or friends of friends then it wouldn’t be so bad and i would probably of continued on with it but because I know them on a much more personal level than that that’s probably why i reacted the way i did x |
