Do others on the forum find,as I do,that anyone who requests that you 'have a chat on MSN' is invariably a timewaster with whom you never end up meeting?

No I don't. I've had quite a few 'meets' after chatting on MSN and showing faces on Cam. |

I prefer to see/speak n chat before I give my msn.
At first I'd give it out to couples, but was amazed by the amount of fems who had a headache etc etc 
I am now very choosey who I give it out to.
Good luck in your hunt as I know there are many GENUINE (as in real life couples) who trade msn's x |

We don't use msn, or cams, at all. We have kids, teenage and we never get the time or privacy to use either. People have turned us down because we don't use it, some have accused us of being fake because we don't use it but we don't care. We think our verifications prove we're real, our photos show us at play with those that verify us, so they can think what they like, accuse us of what they want. We're happy enough  |

I don't use msn any more. I wouldn't give out my email addy as I thought guys just wanted dirty talk and to wank plus I had kids living with me, and with 2 jobs, I don't have the time and I am not interested in wasting my free time continually chatting to someone then my account got hacked into so deleted my account.
I don't use any other chat facility either and it never ceases to amaze me the number of guys that ask if I do as it shows they haven't read my profile 3 years ago when I registered on Fab I didn't think or know that it was a way to verify that someone is who they say they are, no big deal |

We did a couple of times when we first joined but unsurprisingly all the guys who promised it was purely for verification always ended up trying to flash me their cock...*yawn*
I belong to another adult orientated site and although i've tried it, cyber and all that stuff does absolutely nothing for me...bores me "frigid"...most people are really bad at it anyway...prefer the real thing-if it loses us meets, then so be it |

We do use msn predominantly as a chat mechanism with friends we have made. Whilst its not always practicable to have this website open on our laptops, msn justs sits there on the taskbar.
Its nice to say hi every now and again as people pop in. A pleasant distraction from work, or worse, Eastenders ! 
Likewise, if the home circumstances permit, a chat can easily develop into plans being made for something in the future.
Its easy enough to delete someone if false pretences have been used or our trust abused. We don't see it as some sinister forum, its just software that can be used for whatever purpose we choose. Think it would be harsh to categorise it.

I use MSNN for chat as the mssag system on here isn'kt great and can also have on my phone. Also have yahoo and skype for cam fun. Never had too many issues but then i've nver been shy on cam.

Same as the op here, we found when we started that the guys who wanted to 'chat' on man were more likely to be the pic collectors or timewasters, we then started to meet socially quite early so that he wife could check them out and only after a meet, social or plying would we chat online.... |

Errr no!!!!! Ive been a swinger ten years and always use msn to see if we click and its more private if their too shy to use a chatroom on here. Its the timewasters who wont use them in my eyes and ive enough experiance in this. Each to own but i ask for a webcam chat to make sure its a woman and to see if were of each's cuppa tea. Works for me and its only way i meet. I aint no timewaster!   |

We only show our faces on msn and insist that any couples interested in us do the same.We find that this sorts out the single guys from the real couples. |

it is extremely rare we meet someone if we haven't chatted to them on msn, at least a few times.
Ive lost count of the number of single guys who on first contact seem fine, then a few weeks later make some wierd creepy statement that makes us think we've just had a lucky escape.
If we click on fab, we invite msn chat and take it from there |

How dare you suggest that MSN is a haven for timewasters when it is clear to see that timewasters can be found on all IM based communication. I shall be reporting you to Bill Gates.

we don't do MSN anymore. Far too easy for someone to capture the email address and it snowballs from there...
We keep a 'fun phone' for this and always make contact that way before we take things too far. If someone gets 'funny' with that number, we just get a new SIM card and that's them scuppered.
Sad when you have to be like this we people, but it's the reality of it..

My research has found that 99% of the women on here mysteriously don't have msn, which is an incredible stat when you think about it..........

well no actually we have chatted to every person we have met on msn and never let them down we have had it the other way we have spoken to ppl that have let us down via the phone and other chat systems |

I have MSN but like to keep friends and family on there and Fab on fab, I've been accused of being fake and time wasting for not giving out my ID. Not that it bothers me, just annoys me that just because I won't give out details to all and sundry at the drop of a hat people get funny, everyone has a choice and a right to speak to people where they're happy to!!! |

We use a MSN account for chats, cam, pic shares etc. We only play together so always happy to verify both around/exist wirh a quick hello on cam. We can easily block or delete any time wasters/oddities!
We have most of our fab friends on there for regular chats, we like to tease with a few surprise pics/vid emails and often have a little cam fun with those who want to  We often ask to chat to new friends on MSN as we find it easier to chat there.
Many dont have it but works for us... |

i have found that guys who ask to be added to MSN are usually the ones who just send me cam invites every time they see me log on
Tho im happy to chat on MSN soon as they start sending cam requests i just block them |

I use msn/cam to confirm who it is I'm chatting with - I don't do the cam sex thing, have done and felt a bit of an idiot prancing around in my frillies, just my preference. Tried the phone veri a long time ago with a woman - and yes it sounded like a woman; but when I asked about cam, they didn't have one. All pics appeared genuine too - then I smelled a rat during chat one day, whilst arranging to meet. She turned out to be a he, who very quickly left the site (not Fab)when I confronted him, no doubt reappearing under a different name. I felt more sorry for the poor woman who's pics he'd used - unless she was in on it too. Bizarre how some people get their kicks - so now, for me, no msn cam = no meet |

I like to use MSN just to see the person I am looking to meet is the same one in the pictures on fab, as I disovered the hard way some people are not entirely honest about the photos they use....(pics taken years ago are a giveaway when you have seen them on cam!)
Not into playing on cam, just doesnt work for me.

We always use msn as its the only place you will see our faces on. have found the opposite to the forum instigator we find those on msn to be more genuine. We also dont mind a chat then meet but are also happy to establish a short friendship before meeting as some cpls prefer this

Same. We did set up msn but never really used it and then it got hacked so that's the end of that!
I do kind of agree with the original post though - not to say everyone that asks to msn is a waster - but in nearly every case that people have asked and we've then offered to phone them we've had no reply, which has made it feel it's just people looking for a quick wank rather than actually meeting. |
