Why do people block others without giving any reason?

Does anyone else just find it rude to block especially if you’ve passed a face pic over?

No, it’s not rude at all imo.

Especially taking into account the amount of messages ladies receive

They don't have to give you any reasons but yes it's frustrating.

Just movie on

No we don't find it rude to block, nor do we find it rude if others have blocked us.

We are each on here for our own reasons, not to satisfy everyone elses.

I often block people I’m not attracted to, just so they don’t think I’m interested if I might click on their profile again later.

If you sent a face pic without messaging I'd probably not be inclined to speak to you (some people would just block in that instance), if you're a repeat messager with no reply from the other party and started sending face pics I'd also be inclined to block, but if the conversation flowed with ease from both parties I'd be abit put out.

BUT.. People can block who they want.

I've blocked a few people who get too much for me, I've also blocked those who are incredibly rude in threads they've made. Mostly the "why won't anyone fuck me right now" people.

Surely it's better to just be blocked than be told there's no attraction so I'm blocking

I don’t think blocking is generally rude but I do think If you have sent a pic after they have asked for one and you get an immediate block then that is poor form but it is also fairly clear that they don’t like my ugly mug

I would agree with you but just think it’s kinder to say not for me thanks or I recognise you so probably best not take it further.

Block without warning is poor form

We was blocked yesterday by a couple when we said no attraction in the nicest way we can.

Then we got blocked by a single lady two months ago, with a No .

It happens , we can't moan on people's reaction .

We ourselves have blocked number of couples for our own reasons without even interacting with them.

Just move on . No hard feelings here

I don’t mind people looking at me at all. I don’t mind polite messages from people either, but if people can’t take no for an answer or have poor memories, they get a block

This may sound incredibly shallow, but I also block everyone who shows up on ‘who’s near me’ that I don’t find attractive or don’t see potential with. Saves them popping up in searches

I occasionally block people who don’t reply after reading messages to save them showing up in searches too… unless their pictures are absolutely to die for so I can pop along for a perv

I only block single men. Apart from stating on my profile I'm not interested they don't even try messages like Hi or want your cock sucked.

It can be disheartening being the one to be blocked, and yes things can be dealt with much better, but if that's the way they feel they can deal with things on this site, maybe through past experience, maybe because they don't have it in them to say 'not my type' kind of thing, then no it's not too be taken as rude.

It's a feature on the site that can be used as each profile user wishes.

As the blocked one, maybe take a different viewpoint and see it as a way to be sure you'll not waste your time messaging them again.

Blocking is a function set up by fab to avoid any communication between two parties.

It is explained in the site rules, what the function does and why it is in place.

Why do you feel that you are entitled to a reply if someone has no interest in you?

travel around a lot.

It would be a good idea to when you block, they fill a box out as to why. I've been blocked in the past accidentally and vice versa. Been said before, if you feel you meet a profiles criteria and then get blocked, it's helpful to know why. Wether it's "your an ugly twat", "your too far away" ," your cocks like a Victorian door stop" etc. Without the block, then that can instigate more unwanted messages.

I like that idea of a form to fill out why you are blocking

Life is too short to be explaining why I'm adding ppl to my block list.

No one is entitled to a reason for being blocked or turned down.

Unless they've been abusive or overly persistent, we tend not to block but leave a private note

You need to look at site rules not rude but maybe you should think through, what you're sending to people beforehand

In many cases when messaging back you get an angry and abusive message back so if you could stop that you may have a case.
