So, I've been fortunate enough to introduce C to the wonderful world of kink and when we first started discussing limits fisting was way off the table (largely due to incorrect assumptions about how a woman has to be 'loose' to be fisted, or will be loose afterwards).

So true, there's been a few ladies I've met over the years who have had some nasty experiences with fisting not to mention other sexual activities.
