Yet again let down after we arranged a meet has led us to think that maybe its the trill of the chase and not the actual meet for a lot of people.

Nope, I definitely enjoy meeting more. You don't get a good seeing to while chasing.

Mr Noobs likes the build up and messaging, Mrs Noobs gets annoyed at the toing and froing and hates waiting.

So 1 vote for each here.

Definitely the meet but do often enjoy the build up beforehand.

We enjoy both, but will not entertain a "chase" unless we are sure we are going to meet said person/people.

I find chasing to be quite mundane, being chased slightly less so.

The thrill of getting ready for a meet, getting in the car and meeting someone is awesome though.

So for me, the meet will always outweigh the chase.

I don't "chase" ....

If there's someone I want to meet and I suggest a day / time for meeting and they can't make it. I won't ask again, it's up to them after that.

If they arrange to meet and vanish / stop communicating in the time running up to the meet, I won't chase them.

meeting is what I'm here for, not chasing

most fundamental aspects

The chase can certainly be part of the fun. I do not see it is a chase, more of a journey. The journey can be fun but it is the destination that is the goal. I'm no greyhound, a chase without a conclusion is a little pointless
