'tween PontyCarlo & CasVegas in West Yorks |
The Kitchen has an awesome soundtrack with classic rock tracks such as Barracuda and Wayward Son, and its a bloody great film too.
I do have a bit of a girl crush on both Melissa McCarthy and Elisabeth Moss, great actresses |

"Bullitt
Gladiator
The Mission
"
Lalo Schifrin, who composed the music for Bullitt, and many other films was a composer par excellence.
Anyone interested in Bullitt (1968) should watch online Herve Attia's analysis of the car chase route, with his own score. Very interesting. |

The Lost Boys,
Trainspotting,
Dirty Dancing,
The Beach,
Quadrophenia,
24 hour Party People
All have great sound tracks and anything of Quentin Tarentinos obviously.
I would also include quite a few disney/pixar ones too.

"Guardians of the Galaxy… both films have great sound tracks.
Fully agree, and would like to add baby driver "
GotG films are basically a “best of” album with some funny actors thrown in they are very good.
I would also like to add Tron Legacy as my submission, which by contrast is basically an hour and a half long Daft Punk music video and Highlander which is an extended Queen music video |

"C.B.G.B's.
Film about a club in New York in the early to mid 1970s where a lot of the early punk bands played like the Ramones, Blondie n Talking heads to name a few."
If I had a time machine that's where I'd be heading with a room booked at the Chelsea Hotel. |

Not necessarily the whole film but in Natural Born Killers they play a track by L7 called Shitlist .
"When I get mad, and I get pissed
I grab a pen and I write out a list
Of all you assholes who won't be missed
You've made my Shitlist"
Brilliant track. |

Top Gun has an amazing soundtrack, as does Star Trek The Motion Picture (which makes up for the film itself being hilariously bad).
Both Guardians of the Galaxy films.
Phil Collins’ soundtrack to Disney’s Tarzan film is amazing. |

Couldn’t agree more... Guardians of the Galaxy 1 may be one of the best movie soundtracks ever in our opinion |

Some great ones up above, I sadly think I can probably still sing the Grease soundtrack the whole way through (I blame my sister, she played it continuously for about a year).
However, I'll add both the Bladerunner films to the list.
Pretty hard to beat for original, atmospheric sound-tracks in these films. |

Grosse Point Blank: the Clash, the Beat, the Specials, Violent Femmes, every bit of music is fantastic.
French Kiss: from Paulo Conte to Les Negresses Vertes, Tino Rossi to Louis Armstrong, the entire soundtrack conjures a particular mood really effectively. |
