Ok… what’s the fab rules when a fellow fabber steals your text and uses it.
Asked for it to be be removed but refuses. Not sure if it stupidity or flattery but passing yourself off as ‘funny’ then using my stuff as kinda of narked me (plus, clearly not funny enough to write their own)

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do. I've had mine partially stolen before too, it happens. Admin won't do anything about it as it's just text.

I think it happens a lot & im not sure there's anything that can be done
This morning a guy has put a forum thread up about hes profile, I read the exact same profile text last week, I remember it as it made absolutely no sense to me but he said it wasn't him that messaged & I can't remember & had deleted it but it was definelty the same text
& ive seen other posts before where people have mentioned their bios been used & ive been messaged from profiles where there bios are blatant copy & paste jobs from multiple bios & contradict each other |

So annoying! As she’s stated she’s funny…. Clearly needs plagiarism without the authors recognition.

I should see it as flattery but if she’s going to the same clubs as me, I feel like she’s being an imposter and passing herself off as someone she isn’t.

As stated on another similar thread this morning I had my entire bio stolen by 3 long standing profiles last year.
They were too lazy to even take my name out of the last paragraph and were brazen enough to continue posting on the forums while using my complete profile including pics.
They eventually removed it when reported. |

That really takes the biscuits. Some have no shame. I could actually met this girl on the scene so that would be ‘nice’ in an awkward way. Your profile is great though….I may steal the closing line. |

A couple of years ago someone created a profile using my text verbatim, along with some of my pics...
....and not just here, but over at the associated dogging site too - reported to admin, and both profiles disappeared a few days later...  |

who care, jog on is what I say. You are who you are OP and they may copy your text etc but it does not make them you.
Those hoping to meet/fuck you will soon know they difference between what is posted on a profile and what you say, look like, behave etc etc.
Yes, take it as flattery.

I disagree. In my situation I didn't take it as flattery at all because these were not new profiles trying to get a step up. They were existing forum posting profiles.
They became abusive when challenged by people who recognised my pics and bio so I certainly wouldn't be flattered by someone using my details for that purpose. |

I had it once that i found out sone shit who used to b on here made a profile on a porno site
Using some of my piccys making out it was me
Luckily i managed to get in contact with the porn site
Told them what had happened providing screenshots of my piccys that he had used n asked thrn to remove the profile with taking the piccys without my consent
It was only wen i had about 3 different peopke who were on here at the time who msg me n told me about it
