I had a meet with a delightful lady a few weeks ago and almost the first thing she said to me was 'you look like your photo'. Just wondered if there are many guys and gals who turn up for meets and find that the camera does indeed lie? |

Yep!
I know everyone chooses pics that show them at their best but there are a few peeps around that take it a bit far. I met one guy off this site who was at least 15 years older than on his pics and a guy off another site who had either done some serious photoshopping or had lived on macDonalds for a few months before we met!
Refused to play both times and got labelled 'timewaster'.
Have to say tho, on the whole, most people on here are honest. Just have to pick your meets carefully. |

I met one guy whose pic must have been 20 years old, or of his son. It's crap when they do that because they must know that they are lying. They probably think the woman will shag them anyway, but I don't do pity fucks. |

Our pictures are all recent, and don't lie, have been told we look better so good stuff and we haven't met anyone where we have thought, not the person now!
However have seen plenty of profiles which you can obviously spot pictures are very old  |

Yes you have to watch out for the ones with VCR's in the background etc!

I have found that most people we have met have looked better than their pics
A smile, a touch,body language,all those things that you can't get from a photo make them look better to me 
We have been lucky I guess as we hav'nt had the experience of meeting up with anyone that looked completely different from what we expected |

I have found most people we have met have grossly exaggerated height, size etc !!, and although they had pics on their profile, The pics were out of date by five years and five stone or taken at good angles.

The best one yet!! one couple had photos of her before three stone weight gain!! and he had his mouth shut! As when we met them he was missing most his teeth!!!
We have met a few that are like or better than there pics though, hence why we only meet socially no pressure first as we have met some fuglys!!
We have been told we look like our pics, there up to date and I tell it exactly as it is, so no meeting us and finding two big fat, no teeth "Hillbilly's" instead lol |

My meets have all looked like their photos, so far. My last meet told me I was what he was expecting too, which seems to suggest my photos show what I look like fairly accurately. |

we've met a couple of guys whose pictures were way out of date, one by at least 5 years and the other (who incidentally turned up over an hour late) by at least ten years if not 15. Why on earth do they do it, do they honestly think they haven't changed or like someone else said think we're going to play anyway?
On a similar note why do people think we'll go and meet them when we haven't seen a photo at all?  |

We were advised on one of our first meets that the people who demand pics are mostly wasters.
Ironically he was the only one so far that had used a fake pic!
We've had a couple of meets without face pics, sometimes seems you can judge from discussions and phone calls - both times were fine.
Most (but not all) have exaggerated stats, and *forgotten* their age, but not to the extent it's bothered us. |

Oh yeah... Met a lady a few months back. She had sent an email with pics on. Probably from about 5 years ago and several stone lighter. Still had a fantastic meet though but a few up to date pics would have set better expectations |

I can never understand why people use pics that are years old, My bigest fear on a meet is that they might be disapointed when they meet me, well if i have shown them pics that are 10 years old then i can be sure they would be disapointed, so why do it Mmmm beats the hell out off me pmsl |

I met a couple off another site about 18months ago and when we exchanged pics I thought she looked younger than her age. But when I turned up she had aged by at least 10 years and was missing teeth. Not a good look! |

One reason why I verify from a social meet. And if they are like or better than their pics I say so.
I had two meets in one day who used fake pics - not even old ones!
And another had an arty.black and white shot that was five years and four stone out of date |

I use that first face pic only as a guide, it amazes me the awful shots people send, and expect to get sexual interest from!
If they are a Mmmm yes! Or a Hmmmn maybe I ask to have a chat on webcam, especially if they are going to be travelling any distance for our proposed next stage drink and chat. Fairs fair, they get to check me out too and make a decision.
Webcams lie far less!!  |

We all know that there are out of date and mmmm dare I say it fake photos on this and many other sites which is a crying shame and in our _iew displays a total lack of confidence in the minds of the people who use them, to be honest let's face it if you are going to swing surely a lack of confidence in yourself and the way you look then surely this is not a great lifestyle to choose? In our experience every one we have met have been either the same as or better than there photos bless every sexy arsed one of them. But then we do tend to look at photos with a very critical eye there are quite a few give always in most really! The Christmas shots, the way out of date time stamps lol a personal favourite and of course when all photos are so close up that no discernible shape or features can be seen!
We have always as much as life allows tried to make sure that our photos are up to date and have some effort behind them that truly display the kind of people we both are, of course we try to aim for nice angles and good focus hell who does not want to look there best in there photos?
Mmmm well that was a bit of a rant but we guess that there will always be fake and out of date photos but in the whole we find that they are the exception and not the rule

some dates on my pics are wrong as i always forget to reset the date when i have to replace the bateries lol, my pics are a very acurate idear of what i look like, not sure if that is a good or bad thing pmsl  |

Well my photos are boring as i look just like them in real life. Its a bugger when i go to a social and people keep coming up saying hello diamondsmiles, when you dont know them.
But my photos are for a reason, so someone can see whether they like me or not straight away |

I take all my pics on the I phone and upload them regularly then delete the older ones , as I like people to see me "as I am now" and not what I was like then ! Even profiles need to be updated every now and again as your preferences change .  |
