Have a look at adult folio, real photographers who are used to shooting adult content. Either that or a camera that does time lapse photography - set up the shot, decide how many photos and how often to take them (say 100 pics, one every 15 seconds or so), press the button, enjoy.... |

"Looking for a photographer who is willing and able to take erotic pictures of both of us, hoping someone knows someone who knows someone .. x"
You're already doing pretty well with your own photos - far better than most of the self-proclaimed "professional" photographers on Fab. Just keep at it and take inspiration from photos you like - it's a lot of fun. |

"Maybe make subtle enquiries with studios that offer boudoir photography. Some might offer more but not advertise it.
I would be wary of using a random Fab member."

"We've actually been speaking to a local couple who's Mr is photographer. Love the idea of a photo shoot. The professional Boudoir ones seem very expensive. "
Anyone who offers boudoir photography service on a site like this would question it. Know many boudoir photographers and they certainly wouldn't advertise here. But it is an adult site and people make their choices and risks. Id certainly check their credentials, insurance, privacy, GDPR etc |

We/I can do boudoir photography but don't offer it or advertise it on here as Fab are a cynical bunch
Look on purple port for a photographer near you or as other have done with me use word of mouth for who can be trusted. |

"Id ask anyone what a good lighting setup for the best results during, boudoir or nude photo shoot "
Depends on if there's good natural light! But always have a gold flash umbrella and stand set up to keep the flesh tones and can also be angled to throw some shadows in the mix |

If you want to have some professional photos, pay a professional; if you choose to use someone who does it for a hobby (and there are some fantastic ones!) you can’t expect professional results! By this,I mean an agreed amount of edited/finished images in a certain timeframe; plus a written contract outlining who has what image usage rights; remember, by law the photographer owns the copyright to all images he has taken, unless you both agree that he sign over the copyright to you…
Can be a bit of a headache |

Can be an extreme headache but most of us have "model release forms" now and adhere to GDPR and copyright/publication/timeframe agreements .. (well, I know I do lol) and I am a Hobbyist Photographer but totally agree, You want Professional Quality, Pay a Professional |

Some good advice here, shame can't be on the FAB FAQs.
Simple rule.
First Red Flag.
A Professional Photographer of any repute would be unlikely advertise the fact on site like this. Generally people claiming to be professional photographers are not.
Further clarification
Check their credentials as have been said, they should have details of their working practices, including GDPR.
See if they hold any certifications, member of any Professional Organisations.
If they are offering photo shoots, then need to know exactly what you're getting.
Ultimately this is an adult site so decisions and risks are yours.
Wish you well in your search -

Let me know if you find anyone good! Been looking on and off for a couple of years. Insist they use your SD card too.
In the meantime check out good quality tripod legs and ball style heads on Wex, spend 200-300 or 400 if you want carbon.
Also simple reflectors, good fast prime lens and this time of year maybe a lamp , you can do a lot yourself with practice. |

Which, as photography isn’t a protected profession there is no legal requirement for professional qualifications to practice, the only people who are professional photographers are the ones that are getting paid commissions - this doesn’t always mean they are technically competent in taking photos, as… there is no legal need to be qualified.
I’ve seen many a wedding ruined by an over-enthusiastic new DSLR owner offering to save the couple some money and take the photos, not a scenario you can realistically reshoot. A camera no more makes a good photographer than a cooker makes a Michelin chef
Apologies OP for hijacking your thread |

No pro photographer or even an amateur with a professional approach to what he/she does would ever expect to join in.
I've only ever played on one shoot and that was only because she was coming round for fun and wanted some photos while she was here.
I've heard stories of photographers on purpleport trying it on with models and on adult folio you can book models who do POV shoots that involve sex with the photographer. Those photographers give us all a bad name.
Any decent photographer wouldn't even dream of it.

My Playshoot was the Same, She wanted some pics done before she got her hair messed up..
Never tried it on wth a Model on PP.(and wouldn't)
Certainly wouldn't expect to join in unless it was a PlayShoot and discussed beforehand.
But if a Playshoot isn't what's happening, yep, through the Lens is all I see and hands off |

Bear in mind that a genuine pro, or even amateur, photographer would not make public any substandard photograph, even on Fab. So if you see any poor photographs on a profile of someone claiming to be a "genuine professional photographer" there is a very high probability that they are not.

Unfortunately not but if you look for accreditations, certifications or member of a professional body good starting point.
In my local area pre covid there were 52 professional photographers, post covid now nearly 100 and increasing.
Anyway i digress, you take any risk even if they are a genuine professional Photographer, doesnt mean they are any good. There are plenty of bad ones out there. There is a difference between taking pictures and being a photographer.
Oh and there are fair few who do boudoir, erotic .
But the DSLR and a few cheap lights off Amazon or Ebay doesn't make you any good. |

No half credible photographer would do that as there would be a cycle of post processing to do for any real quality photos.
Definitely a red flag

And most people wouldn’t have the software, or knowledge to process Raw files, or have a card reader capable of reading a CF or XD car. It would be the equivalent of having an videographer in the 80s give you a betmax tape so you could play it on your VHS machine |

I think most cameras (mine does) let you shoot in raw and jpg at the same time so using a clients SD card in the camera is possible and you would be able to see the images through a computer, however, it is true there would be no opportunity for post processing (unless the client did it themselves). Most photographers will try and capture accurately through the lens, but some degree of post processing is always done. |

I’m the same (unless im specifically captures action for our couples profile) it infuriates my wife at times as she + plus her girlfriend cannot no matter what they try get me to lose focus, metaphorically and literally I retired professionally last year and she thought I would somehow beable to switch off 25 years of practice |

Thats why you need to go to someone credible rather than the plethora of FAB photographers, and the point.
They should have all the necessary processes in place. A genuine professional Photographer would have more to loose by breaking their professional integrity.
Where amateurs and FAB photographers have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Like selling pictures to porn sites etc
Thats why no credible professional photographers would be offering their services on site like this. Simply not worth the risk to their business.
Despite what people think glamour, boudoir, etc is only part of a professional photographers business. Can you image if some of their clients found tbem on site such FAB
In the end id doesn't really matter, you make your choice and take the risk. If you are taken in buy the shams - hey ho
All I have done is offer some real world experience and some home truths.
Good look OP, i hope you find someone |

I have an Adultfolio profile and have met people on FAB for shoots. I'm not a pro photographer per se but I use photography in my work and have a lot of experience in landscape and product photography.
I've mostly done TFP or content share work, but as I have a fairly visible and reputable business, I'd never risk sharing images in a way that goes against whatever is agreed by the model.
I think there's a lot of snobbery around photography, but a lot of us do it purely for the challenge and enjoyment of capturing and creating beautiful images. |
