This is difficult, service industry staff are expected to be nice, chatty, and helpful, some use a degree of knowing their attractiveness to help make sales, and it’s easy as a customer to misread this as being more than just flirty. I’m not saying that’s what happened in your case, but it’s easy to put someone on the spot who is just trying to do their job and earn their commission.
If you really felt there was a connection, maybe subtly leave your name and number, but not overtly, it’s not fair to risk putting them in a potentially uncomfortable situation. |
