SLUT - funny old word!
Call someone a slut in the vanilla world (the street, at work etc) and it is a horrible insult.
Call someone a slut in the swinging world as part of a “normal” conversation and a lot will still be offended.
Call someone a slut while she is in the middle of taking a hard fucking from multiple cocks and it is a naughty compliment!
But I think the OP is hinting at sluts being created by economic situations. Hmmm nope don’t think so. They just enjoy sex and more than one monogamous partner. If they were a man we’d call them a stud or a player! |

If you add a qualifying word to “shit” we get...

I’d never dream of using the word with someone I didn’t/hardly know or even someone other than C.

I think there are many who wear the name “ slut” as a badge of honour and it has nothing to do with background
I think of it as those who like to be “ free and easy “ and “ ready to fuck” without any complications and like almost to be used

Back on the “does economic background determine being a slut” point...
I (Mr) soon found when I was in late teens/early 20s that the most promiscuous girls were actually those who went to all girl private schools. So generally speaking rich and posh!

What a weird thing to try to correlate. I would theorize that the reasons and efficacy are different. A wealthy person has better access to health care and protection than a poor person and as wealthy communities are more tightly knit, less dangerous. But our sexual desires are not much to do with class. |

There is the correlation to the word slovenly when using the word slut which can also denote someone who has little to no regard for the condition of their home or lifespans so I guess in a way, one could make a link thru social standing.
That said, no such link in the swinging world, it's all about the level of promiscuity and the desire and comfort to do as the lady wishes |

1) a bad attitude, I would say a Man's bad attitude, but Women can be as guilty with name calling.
2) an open minded, taboo breaking attitude, I'll use a male partner as an example ......

For me "Slut" is only a play name. If a woman likes multiple sexual partners it is her choice. On occasion a lady, in the throws of sexual pleasure, has said "Call me a slut" but otherwise I don't agree with it as a description. |
