You can walk into a club with someone, but it doesn’t mean they’ll stay with you for the full evening. In the end you’re a stranger, so you may click with that person or not, if you don’t it’ll be awkward for you both.
It would be better to go alone than find yourself abandoned after they’ve nipped to the toilet and met someone else, that would feel worse surely.

Plus many clubs operate an “arrive together leave together” policy.
If it’s clear that you are just using another person to enter at couples rates, eg you separate once you get in, you’ll either be thrown out or made to pay the single guy price. |
