I recently read this on some lady's status update and it made me wonder.. In my opinion, that clearly tells what fabs has turned into in the era of smart phones  Tons of single men looking for easy sex, hardly anything to do with real swingers.

To be honest its something we noticed quite a while back. In fact its why we block single guys from messaging us preferring to seek out guys we might be interested in and us reaching out to them initially.
As I 'run' this profile most I found the single guys were increasingly hoping or thinking Fab was a free harem of some kind. Or even a 'Dial-A-Fuck' sort of set up and many got frustrated or even angry when I'd politely explain otherwise. This aggressiveness has caused more couples and especially females to leave here sadly.
Of course its a free site and its up to whoever to join for whatever reason so it would be unfair to stop anyone. But yes it does mean the site has for many years now drifted away from what we traditionally called swinging which is just natural progression but change will always not be to everyone's liking.

In some ways I agree. Not tarnishing all guys with the same brush but it does appear that some don't understand swinging in itself. Those "want to fuck" messages that just show there's no interest in nothing else. We like clubs for this reason, that's where you're more likely to be surrounded by other swingers rather than people just wanting a quick end away. |

My opinion is that “swinging” is used to cover a lot more different categories and there’s now more demand for single guys wanting no strings fun.
It used to be all hush hush and now there’s dogging meets, greedy girl parties etc.
they may have went on before but they’re definitely more common nowadays |

I don’t use dating sites but I have seen the change on fab since my return.
It becomes harder to find people who actually grasp what swinging is. I’m not complaining as each to their own and it’s my responsibility to seek those people that fit what I’m looking for.
On the flip side maybe these people are looking for dates and relationships on dating sites which they don’t believe they will find on fab |

I’m on both and yes see familiar people on both. As my profile says I’m looking for different things on each and would hate to be tarnished with the just looking for sex brush on either so would never think that of a guy if he is on both. Appreciate not everyone is as honest and open as I am but some are. I keep an open mind in all aspects of my life and like others who do too |

I don't think people using fab as some sort of dating site is the issue.
I think the biggest problem is the people (and I'm sorry it's mostly men in my experience) who see it as dual a shag and expect people to not be picky or instantly available to meet them.
I'm really sorry but I'm not sat in my finest lingerie desperate to indulge on your cock you've so delightfully positioned over the bathroom sink!
There is a place for everyone on here. And actually as a single person who is not looking to swing I don't feel like I'm not welcome and nor do I feel like I shouldn't be here.
Despite my observations above the men on here are often far better than traditional dating sites.
If you are honest about what you want and do your own searching (rather than just who approaches you) you'll likely do quite well.
Things evolve and this site is no different |

It's little to do with fab, dating or men looking hook-ups but the monetisation that can be made in social media.
The phenomena isn't isolated to single men as they are brought into it mainly from women and couples posting short vid uploads posing as people who meet or amateur porn stars. Their vids get looped/repeated, clicks, views that make them hundreds if not thousands or more.
It's been going on for years but taken off considerably due to circumstances of people working from home. |

Things have changed a lot.
This was initially disappointing to us.
We were on the “Scene” albeit with different people over 10 years ago.
When we got together and discovered our mutual past, then it was a no brainier to carry on and enjoy what we did previously.
However, because of the modern world technology, ie Smartphones, everything is easy access.
People can now sit anywhere in the world and as long as they have Internet access, log into sites like this where it can be considered as INSTASHAG.
Some people like that concept. We don’t.
The Naughtyness of it all has gone.
Its out there. We can’t change it so we have to change tack.
So. It’s clubs. Parties and if we fancy it, inviting singles to join us.
Sadly, the latter is also difficult due to the fantasists, the liars and the the type of people we want to allow into our bodies.
Finally, the situation of mutual enjoyment is often forgotten. It’s all about what THEY want and not about everyone’s enjoyment.

the bit where you’ve said ‘tons of single men looking for easy sex, hardly anything to do with real swingers’ its also hardly anything to do with real daters either. Its mega frustrating on dating sites the volume of gents that just want a quick bunk up…. Its a DATING site why are you here looking for casual sex?

I think all this oh but we are real swingers in every sense of the true word but they're just instashaggers is a load of self righteous nonsense. I once messaged a single female and was replied to being told that I'm not what she's looking for as she doesn't want to meet a swinger. What's all this labelling of people? It's nonsense. It much depends on how you define real swingers?
Some would say single guys looking for single women (and vice versa) aren't real swingers - they're just singles doing what singles do.
Some would say the married cheaters aren't swingers - they're just cheaters looking to cheat.
It's very easy to control who you interact with on here, so I personally don't care who's on here, I'll just continue to make judgement calls on who I think is right for us, and who we interact with, but not on who's a real swinger or not.

also to add tho the site is mostly men its so easy to find the ones that want to swing those that want sex on a plate stand out like a sore thumb ..
the othere area is couples profiles how many of them are just single guys over half the cuckold couples profiles are single guys thats for sure |
