I know and am fully aware of why the majority of people insist on a social meet
But does anyone actually like the idea of a spontaneous and quick meet |

Spontaneity is still there but you need to be on fab at 2.43am when someone posts a new status asking for a kebab with bj in exchange as they can’t drink and drive

No because we're interested in a lot more than just sex. |

That’s why we prefer clubs. You have a certain amount of spontaneity in that you’ve not arranged to meet anyone (generally). You can chat to anyone and if you don’t make a connection you can simply move on to the next one.
Just meeting someone you’ve never met before without a social just seems to add pressure to the situation. What if they turn up and you aren’t attracted to them or them to you? |

Not for me,
Had a quick meet years ago and I didn't really enjoy it, felt like he wanted to just please himself and go.
All my best meets I've chatted a while and had a social, same when I met my other half of almost 6 years now. |

No because want a bit more than just sex and by asking questions before hand you find that the sex is far better when you know something about the other person their likes and dislikes. It kind of awkward having to asks questions whilst in the moment. |

I have experienced social meets that were not pleasant - imagine what would it have been like if I had agreed to have sex on the first meet? It would have been so much more difficult to get out of that situation which also raises the consideration of safety for me.
Spontaneous may be safer for men than for women so for me it is a definite "no thanks" |

I had a spontaneous after a couple of hours chatting, suggested as a social by the couple being in the same area as each other, i wasn't pushy and had no expectations beyond a chat and it developed nicely. it was a thrill as much as the thrill of getting to know someone over time before a meet so there is a place for both. |

We've had a few - one went so well, we've been friends with the other couple for years!
It's often easier for us than trying to plan around when the kids will be out, as they often change their minds last minute. |

I can’t really do spontaneous meets but it would have to be with someone I already got to know. I’ve had a few quickie car meets with someone I got to know on here when I was passing his way and that was fun, but we had already had a social and hotel meets before hand. It’s so much better when they know what does it for you than some random fumble. Though that’s different in a club as there is a certain excitement there. |

That's why we go to clubs. All the sex is spontaneous and sometimes entirely anonymous. |
