Turn on or turn off?
I love to see quality ink on a woman.
Tasteful designs applied by skilled artists on the right body placing can be very sexy.
That said, I do find the lower quality lick and stick type tattoo slapped on bums, boobs and willy nilly places a turn off.
Am I alone on this, or do other people find the same? |

I have skeletal hands on my chest area and I really don't care if other people like them or not as I do and to me that's all that matters. Someone's tattoos doesn't define who they are, so it shouldn't matter how many or where they are. |

I hate awful tattoos. U know like the ones from 10-15 years ago done somewhere dodgy while on holiday.
Prefer minimalistic and feminine looking ones, if there’s a story behind. Even better x |

"Often wondered about tattoos is it because people are unhappy with there bodies that they need to decorate themselves"
With most "inked" people, it's a form of self-harm, a release for any issues they have. I'm certainly not against tattoos, they're great for identifying criminals on CCTV. |

"Nothing against tattoos just if you have a mental issue how can a tattoo help"
Well most obviously think being covered in tattoos helps their mental health somehow... |

We’ve both got ink and we love it. For both of us our ink represents our journey, our values, our experiences that have made us who we are today, and the aesthetics aside that’s what makes ink both sexy and fascinating for us. |

I just have the one, on my right shoulder blade. A friend did it for me. Hummingbird dipping into a petunia flower in pretty pinks and blues. I love it.
Some look pretty if they are done well, in good places, not keen on the big ones... less is more when it comes to inks.
But I know they can be addictive. Been planning my second one a while now lol. Fancy a dream catcher with dangly feathers on my left hip. Just need to decide on the colours, thinking purple and turqoise this time. |

I've seen some on here that are very bad quality & not positioned correctly either...
Some are class though too "Tasteful designs applied by skilled artists on the right body placing can be very sexy" agreed 1000% |

Each to their own but I just think that there's going to be some crazy looking pensioners in 30 to 50 years time . Tattoos are fashionable at the moment but in 5, 10 or 20 years time? Not like a hairstyle that you change with the times! |

I will be one happy pensioner then they are only more fashionable now as celebrities and people in the public eye are getting more .tattoos when in fact they have been around for years i.e sailors, prisoners, bikers etc and never seen on public show ..tattoos have been around since 3370 bc so they are in fact an ancient art .. |

I absolutely adore an inked lady, massive turn on for me! If I had a spare £300 I’d be down the tattoo parlour like a shot, lucky I’m patient, the design has only been in my head for twenty five years haha Miss pc |

I like them and love to hear the stories behind them if people are willing to share. I don't understand why some people judge people with ink though? How does having something drawn on your skin make you a bad person?
I haven't got any but have always loved the idea of having one or more done. |

Haha! This sounds like me. I've had a designed planned for years but can't justify the cost. |

I've never thought of it as self harm.
I'll be honest I don't like my body but every time I look at my rose it makes me like that part. It's pretty.
It's a reminder to me that I'm more than my body, there's still some beauty to be found |

"I like my tattoos, I, generally, don't really care about other people's "
This is pretty much my view. They should be personal. I'm a tattoo snob I guess. I appreciate anything with meaning and uniqueness more than the art itself. That said, I don't tend to tell people what mine mean but a lot of people tend to enquire. |

I like seeing other people’s tattoos, they add to the individual however I also fully appreciate those who don’t have any.
We are all very different and have the right to have our own passions in life. I do worry about those who carry judgements of others purely on what people choose to have on their bodies.
It’s 2021 not 1945, either get with society or be left behind. |

We don't mind a few but not really keen on when there's so many it distracts from their natural body if that makes sense.
Also cheap tribals straight out of a parlors catalogue are a no go for us. Most people we know that had them during the craze have since had them covered. |

I have lots of ink
I have large pieces on both upper arms and both sides of my body and half my head is tattooed although at the moment I've grown my hair so they are not so visible
My ink might not be to everyone's taste but it's to mine, its not little, pretty and feminine but then again neither am I
And while I love a good perv over others ink ,their ink has no bearing on if and how we play as it does not mean I will or won't like the person they are
They could have the most stunning ink but be as bland as they come on a connection side, or they could have the worse ink going yet the connection is like fireworks everytime you interact I know which one I'm gonna pick to play with |

So I’ve read above tattoos are
Form of self harm
People unhappy with their bodies
Mental issue
This site never fails to amaze me!
I have lots of tattoos - because I like them.
If people don’t like it, I really don’t care as I don’t get them for anyone else |

How is people wanting to express themselves or wear their story harmful?
I agree, tattoos are personal, unless done on a d*unken whim. |

We don't get tattoos for your approval. If you don't like how they look on older people, tough |
