Hi,
have been reading that one of the best ways to meet people is to attend socials. However, I'm discovering that a lot of socials in my area (midlands) prohibit single males from attending.
I can understand why this may be the case (coach loads of blokes turning up!) but are there any socials that do allow single males?

We've wondered this. We see the same advice very often in here, that men should attend socials to get themselves out there.
We know the reasons for not allowing men or even allowing select men. But surely its the wrong advice to give these guys who are constantly told 'get yourself to a social' |

some clubs also host social events which would probably be a better bet for single guys |
