I'm working on a project based on the Middle East so we use their calendar. Their weekends are Fridays and Saturdays. I don't get UK bank holidays because of where the client is based, but in a curious twist of working for a British company, I don't get the client's public holidays either.
I've had four days off this year.

I used to work most Bank Holidays but when the weather was poor like today, I loved it. Because it was double bubble (overtime) plus a day off in lieu. Then I could wait for a sunny day to have my day due. Win win.  |
