What is St Osyth beach like?

Hi Fabbers,
I have a question.
What is St Osyth beach like these days?
I went a couple of years ago and if any couples or single ladies turned up they were immediately surrounded by single guys, some where already parked up on the beach and as soon as a couple turned up they picked their towels up and basically sat on top of them, some even started playing with themselves right in front of them.
This was so annoying for me to see it must have really spoilt some couples days.
When the weather gets better the week after next I really want to go along for a day in the sun but quite honestly don't want to be near any of these parasitic males.
My question is, is there an area of the beach that is free of these sex pests?
Or is there any other areas in Essex that I can just have a day in the sun without the bother of seeing these perverted idiots?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |

The beach is not quite like that these days. Couples who don't wish to be leered at tend to stick to the actual beach instead of the dunes. No problems at all there.
My wife loves naturism but that is not her favourite beach so when she's busy and the weather is good I go on my own. She has been with me a few times this year and no problems at all.
The far end is for males and that's a great area because it is so far out of the way so as not to annoy people. Live and let live, why not?

Thanks, , I will pop over the next sunny day and see what it's like, , I do agree with live and let live, but what I saw was far beyond that, and one couple even got up and left, , so that's not good, , , I guess if all parties are concenting that's fine,, , but that genuinely wasn't the case at the time.
Thanks for your input though |

For those who may not be aware, you have to park up at the sea wall then it's a 20-25 minute trek over stones and rocks etc until you reach the naturist beach
I only went once this summer but it was, as usual, populated mostly by men with just three couples in attendance on the day I visited.
Although I didn't see any guys making a nuisance of themselves on that occasion I'm given to understand that it does still happen occasionally.
Indeed, I was approached by two guys who asked if I would be "interested in some play" but being straight I declined.
Not that I considered them to be a nuisance you understand as they were perfectly polite.
I must say though that the cock on one of the guys was bloody huge!
It would be useful to get the views of the more frequent visitors to the beach of course. |

Thanks Dave,
So I'm guessing it's pot luck if you get a trouble free day, , , I'll pop over when the sun shines again and take a look. |

"I go down there regularly as a single woman but I stay at the first park and to be honest they know I don’t entertain it so get left alone "
So I think I'm definitely going to park up at the very beginning of the beach, , , thanks for taking the time to comment. |

OP, you state a desire to spend a day in the sun without seeing the pests as you mentioned. OK fine and I don't disagree, but why not consider joining a naturist club? There are some good ones in Essex and they allow single males. There are no sexual overtones in the social nudity. Just simple naturism which is fantastic. Have a look at Springwood near Colchester. |

I have seen some of the guys you mention as I go by the first section. They do look a bit odd but I’m sure a polite “leave us alone” would be listened to and accepted.
I like the vibe at the far end , the guys are all great, very respectful, it’s just so relaxing to strip off and wander around naked. And of course if some attention and fun comes along - fantastic. If not, I’ve still had a great day out.
Just need it to warm up! |

I have been a fair few times. I get guys keep walking past me and have been pestered even though I show no interest. It definitely ruins the day for yourself because you then feel if you go for a walk then you’re “interested and looking” do you tend to feel you have to stick to your towel and pretend you’re asleep lol.
That said I’ve played with 3 different couples on that beach! 2 of which approached me. So there are couples that do go there looking for fun and play.
The guys you’ve mentioned seem to be the regular guys. And are a very tight knit. And I can see exactly how they scare couples off. I think I really hit and miss with what crowd is there that day!
But as mentioned.stick to the first part of the beach and you should be fine. Failing that.a sharp look and a fuck off will do the trick. |

Thanks, I will do exactly that.
Upon reading the comments it's becoming apparent that the problem males are probably regulars and don't really give a shit about their openly problematic behaviour, , , I'm guessing they're all pretty local and as someone has mentioned to me, , they seem to reduce in numbers as the afternoon passes.
Maybe they are returning home before their partners or wives get home, , , , Lol.
When I went last you could either walk along the beach or take the path running parallel to the beach and cross the swampy area.
If I take the path I think I will turn left at the beach and not right as I'm guessing the naturist beach must start near the point where people arrive from using the path as opposed to walking up the beach?
Being so out of the way it's probably ok to strip off anywhere that's in the ballpark (excuse the pun) of this area?
I am looking forward to going, just cannot stand sex pests and although I do firmly believe in live and let live, , , some of the male users (not all), , are simply that.

Looking at the forecast that’s me done with any beach activities this year. Shame as I do remember a very hot day towards the end of September last year. Can’t see it happening this year though.
Thoughts turn to indoor fun. |

Seb, next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are supposed to be 22-24 degrees, , that's enough for me to get under them rays, , I don't think we've quite seen the end of it yet, , , fingers crossed. |

Yeah, , let us know what it's like, , I'll be heading over that way on Wednesday but plan to pitch up well before the area that everybody seems to head for.
Look forward to your review |

"It’s very Sandy there "
Is it quite sandy now?
That's good, , I remember a lot of gravel like stones and wet muddy clay, , , Lol
But I won't be in the water much so as long as I find a nice quiet half comfy stretch of beach I'll be happy. |

"Ahaha... from what you were saying im not sure you want to be by the sandy bit "
Ok, , , so I'm guessing it's sandy further up the beach as opposed to the very beginning?
Yeah, , , I really cannot be around the sex pests, , , so I'll stick with the stones and clay just before the start of the beach, , , , Lol, , , I just want a relaxing day in the sun before the summer ends. |

Ah just got back... it was still stoney and the walk arduous, but it was delightful to get naked in evening sun on a deserted beach... there were just a few meerkats wanking soft Willie's, on there own in the dunes at the far end but whatever floats your boat eh. My advice... just go and you do you! Don't worry about anything else... just soak up the sun and the salty air |

Yeah, , , these are the little creeps that piss me off, , , thanks for the update though, , I'm gonna stay just before the beginning when I pop over.
I'll give you an update, , , Lol. |

"We’re thinking of going. We’ve got an unexpected day off. Never been before, how do we get to the nudist part? X"
Use postcode CO16 8TB for Sat Nav, , park up at the free car park and walk to the right of the beach, , , there is also a path that runs adjacent to the sea, , you can walk along here until you get to the metal steps and then cross the marshland.
If you're going later then there's bound to be someone on the path heading that way in front of you.
It's really quite easy.
Have a great day |

It's a growing problem everywhere. I don't have an answer, but love to know if there are some couple-only naturist beaches. |

Popped over today and had quite a lovely day.
The problem males however are still there.
I actually parked up just before the naturist area starts and I saw herds of single guys arriving as the afternoon progressed, , , now that in itself was not a problem at all.
However, , a very nice couple who had been up the far end came back and sat next to where I was sitting due to males surrounding them at the far end (we spoke), , , as soon as they had settled loads of males, mostly older started hanging around, , one even kept walking up and down the area where we were and actually touched himself, , , now that didn't start happening until the couple arrived.
Now these males all came from up the beach, the nice sandy area and they relocated to hard stone banks, , , , like it isn't completely obvious they are sad sex pests.
What the hell is wrong with them.
Other than that, , , I had a great day and would definitely go again |

Me, Cait and a lady friend spent a good 3 hours there today and didn’t get pestered once. To be fair we didn’t go too far up the beach and kept near other couples.
And we even went in the sea which was surprisingly pleasant. |

I think I saw you, , , you weren't far up at all.
Yeah, , it just got bad around 2ish where we were, so they left around 3:15pm and me around 3:30.
The tide coming in doesn't help matters as I quite like a walk up the beach in the sand but the sea forces you onto the small stones.
I did enjoy today though, even though I forgot to pack the tent for a little sun relief. |

It’s a shame that the pests do that, can spoil the experience. We had it last time but we were with another couple and we just ignored the pests.
I don’t understand how they think all people down there are wanting to have sex
We left about 2.30ish and there wasn’t much beach left at the beginning part |

Totally agree,
The real problem lies in that St Osyth is a naturist beach and not a swingers beach.
Unfortunately these sex pests can not seem to separate nudity and sex,, , and their unwanted advances will undoubtedly get them into trouble at some point in the future.
They need to understand they are on a nudist beach and not the Cap d'Agde, , the reason I stay well away from where the couples go is that this behaviour is so rife, I wouldn't even want to be mistaken for one of these idiots.
Maybe it should be policed by genuine naturist visitors, , they would soon run away with their tails between their legs |

I went today and had a relaxing time but after all the complaints about pervs, I kept an eye open for what was going on; absolutely nothing. Just as I suspected much ado about nothing. A couple I know who were there said that they had a great time being naked with no intrusion whatsoever from unwanted males.
Fantastic. If you like naturism, go to St Osyth and relax, have a good time and enjoy.

I think on the whole,, a good day is had there.. I normally go halfway up the beach, nice to swim there... I've seen the pests and they can be annoying.
I went with a lady friend a few months ago, and a guy sat near us, and just stared all day.. looking is fine, but everytime we sat up he was staring,, and we moved behind a bush in the end..
But it hasn't stopped us going again,, just hope you get some peace... |
