I'm now quite mystified what winks are used for. I thought they meant liked your profile please get in touch if you like ours.
Apparently not. In the last few weeks I've have 3 couple wink at me. I've sent back polite replies saying thank you for the wink I've looked at your profile and interests and would be very keen to have a chat .
None of the couples have replied.
I know I'm going to get the " they don't have to" but in that case why wink in the first place.
Getting a communication going on here is hard enough without this.

Agree with you Op, why wink if you’re not interested ?
The only reason I can guess is that one half of the couple was interested but the other half not, so sent the wink independently, rather than as a couple.
Either way sorry it happened to you and good luck with the future  |
